perhaps, but what exactly does that mean on 8chan? As far as I can tell, there isn't a post limit or thread deletion, so just having a few posts a day seems a low bar
I'm more concerned about losing the spontaneous bump-spawned conversations
Like, someone posts a new image they found as a bump
Someone else goes "unf, boi-balls" or something else like that
People respond for a few more posts, and things continue on from there
It may not seem like much compared to your stories or the deep theological discussions about faggotry we have every once in a while, but I feel these spontaneous conversations are the staple for threads like these, and without the need to bump and thus the incentive to have these spontaneous conversations, I fear we may lose something important
Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely happy we have SOMETHING to fall back on with 4chan down, and I certainly hope that Hiroshimoot takes the opportunity to finally upgrade the site for once, but I am looking forward to when 4chan comes back
