In my own experience it seems like the most devoted and motivated artists are on sites specifically focused on their medium, like artstation, pixeljoint, or just through contacts found via blender/SFM/game projects and communities. Are there any games or subjects you're really into that you could maybe find a community around to join? When all else fails, there's always >>>/loomis/, even if it is a bit slow. I know their drawpile group is decently active at the least.

The lack of identification allows for everyone's opinions to be listen, without a bias. All posts are equally as valid, even the shitpost ones. I dont consider myself a "artist", but I always had the fear of becoming one of those self-absorbed faggots. I recently started up a game I got like three years ago for the first time and ended up really liking it way more than I expected, you never really now what to expect until you experience it. I'm into a lot of stuff but I feel like personally it's too much to direct a conversation or the thread here. I like drawing, music, gaming, etc. but I'm here specifically because I've been emotionally distant and trying to connect through erp, discord chatting, threads and random contacts, and that's without getting into my personal issues or anything else of the sort. Hence why I decided to make a thread for other people looking for something a little more specific.
