I'm kind of surprised they didn't give Orcs better looking faces. Everyone else did but Orcs literally look like disgusting monstrosities, even worse than the original because of the detail.
>>40586 You expect literal fecal monsters to look good?
>>40579 bought delux edition todd-sama. no i didn't pirate it, i swear on yer mum.
>>40587 They could have atleast made them look similar to the ones in Skyrim, I actually thought orcs in skyrim were cool
>>40091 Or alternately download https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/738 and put the dlssg_to_fsr3_amd_is_better.dll and version.dll in... \steamapps\common\The Elder Scrolls IV OblivionRemastered\OblivionRemastered\Binaries\Win64 directory so you use DLSS and FSR3 frame gen at the same time.
Ah, so this is what those things are for
>was supposed to workout today >got lost doing daedric quests in todds magical realm instead I'll do them tomorrow, its too late now. Not too late to keep playing oblivion though
>>40518 Did anyone?
>>39978 >baffling >I expected to go places that just did so many things wrong. Your line of thought is what's baffling to me. If a company makes a good game, why does that imply their next game would be good? Staff is constantly changing, values, motivation, budget, deadlines. So many variables exist that I'm not sure why you would think >X made a good game so there next one will be as good if not better! When practically every variable for the first game being made will be different from the second game.
>>40591 Should I just not use an alembic if I'm making poisons and I want to optimize them?
>>40571 >I found out something that you can discover immediately with a basic google search School really failed you, huh.
Got my 100% chameleon and overleveled 200 destruction, now I can finally play the game.
>>40592 todd is actually a gains goblin
>>40596 Why would I use google's botnet to search for mods when everyone hosts their mods on nexusmods? I'm a do it yourself kind of person if I don't have the answers I seek immediately because I'm not a tech illiterate faggot.
>Tons of empty soul gems in inventory >Killing things with soul trap >Not filling gems Am I retarded or is some fuckery going on?
>>40600 Restarting my game somehow fixed it. I have no idea.
>>40600 there are limits depending on what soul you are capturing and what gems you have, non monsters for example can only be trapped by black gems
Adding to what I've said earlier already about the AI, I can tell the scripting for rumor interaction is broken as well. In the original game characters would begin moving away from each other after finishing their exchange, in the remaster they just silently stare at each other until you interact with one of them directly.
Man I hate oblivions skill system. Its so bland. I know everyone shits on skyrim but the perk trees where a good addition. A lot of perks were boring shit like "do 20% more damage" but it allows for a lot more customization and it gives you something to look forward to every level other than numbers going up.
>>40108 Yes, Beth haven't made a half decent game since Skyrim, I only recently played Fallout 4 for the first time and that was irredeemable shit, Fallout 3 wasn't great but it was significantly better than 4. Neither were as good as New Vegas though.
>>40603 Funny too I also just noticed if they get stuck in this state and if I reload the cell/chunk they'll immediately loop back into new dialogue and then get stuck staring again.
How much sharpness for dlss? I feel like at 100 the vegetation just looks way too weird
>>39937 Nope. I paid for the VPN so I can torrent and I'm gonna enjoy it
>already put 20+ hours into this hand-to-hand monk I've been developing, because I wanted to try something new. >still get that itch to just play a wizard, my home class
This piece of fucking shit grass keeps trolling me by looking like a Nirnroot
really fucked up my initial main skill selection and leveling up choices so i rerolled, its way better now
>>40611 Made the same mistake on my first character and rerolled too. Good thing too because even minor skills level you up crazy fast. It also matters which level you get, raising a skill from 10 to 11 contributes way less than leveling a skill from 70 to 71. Hell even at level 20 raising a skill from 150 to 155 gives you half a level.
>>40023 HOW ABOUT YOU FUCKING PLAY IT INSTEAD OF GIVING ME YOUR DOGSHIT OPINION OF "WHAT YOU SAW" YOU DUMB NIGGER.
>>40612 i am just trying to focus on combat so i dont get unkillable enemies again. dunno how itll scale later on when everything is maxed
>>40604 >Me like when have to select buff, that good. If same, less restricted buff happen automatically through the process of skill go up, that bad
>>40604 Skyrims perk system is better, but the perks themselves were not. I always spent like 5 minutes faffing about trying to figure out which 5% bonus damage i wanted before deciding just to bank the perk point. All the cool perks were locked behind having X skill.
Archery is so smooth what the fuck. I dont know what they did that makes it feel different. I feel like character speed is double what it was in the original. I did not expect this to be this good to play.
Player animations are so floaty, they feel awful... I don't understand why wouldn't they want to fix that moving onto UE5. It's a gamebryo problem since forever. Hard to explain what's wrong with it's animation system, but it's as if your character is attached to the camera, and not the other way around.
I feel like they changed the leveling speed for restoration. In the original it was by far the slowest magic class to level. Even though it was used excessively for healing spells, it was always levels behind the others it felt like.
>>40620 probably because you heal out of combat now thus it gets used WAY less.
