Yep, feel free to skip them and come back later. If memory serves, this is basically the only instance of this happening in the game.
1.2's out on the google drive, but you should be fine without it since generally the only stuff that's left untranslated (at least that I remember changing, I might've fixed more stuff on my copy before the number changed) as of 1.1 is mostly stuff that occurs when you try and go back to areas you've already cleared (ex; shortcuts, ghost path) as well as a few gates in one of the Rudyk souls.
The main change is that Chris Celt is in fact Cryskelt. Cryskelly? It's an ice crystal skeleton and I was a fool for not realizing the name pun while assuming it was a reference of some sort.
In my opinion, the real frustration of Ghost Path occurs from how in midgame to postgame where your equipment is really important and the game just doesn't give you much to work with on that account naturally.
Interesting note- there's like at least one or two Large Bombs that you can find before postgame, I would recommend holding on to those because at around the time of the pre-postgame final boss, more likely than not they will be outperforming the strongest spells you'll have on Wine at that point.
Current Ruinswald thoughts:
Ranie has a character trait where she has a hard time with some words, presumably because she didn't get to finish her education before the world ended. This is generally represented by a word or place being said in potentially up to Katakana, Hiragana, and Kanji all in the same conversation, and it doesn't flow super well in translation, because by and large, this means that if I want to make it work, I have to verbosify some words that really don't need verbosifying- the earliest example being literally just Food.
