>>3581 One more funny thing. Back in February when they posted a community event for Mk VII pristine varaint the post on steam had an interesting miniature (pic related). It's still up btw, but if you go through the link you are greeted with a completely different version of the same picture, only edited. Point being that people are right to complain about lack of variety, especially when it's so easy to make these things. We should be getting at least one community event per week dammit.
I knew the bolt carbine was really good and had been using it on my sniper for a while, but I had no clue the marksman version fucked so hard It's a stalker bolt rifle that fires as fast as you can click and it has stupidly good hipfire accuracy, it's insanely deadly and great for prestiging on tactical/vanguard/sniper, especially when tactical gets its auspex on perfect parry perk at level 7 (so most of your prestige grind except the first mission after resetting) both versions of the carbine just act exactly like how I hoped bolters would when maxed out on absolute
>>3701 Perk update finally made it usable, and just in time too, since I can finally make Decimus into an Infiltrator with it.
Looks like good devs left clues what next ordeals are probably going to reward us. I'd rather they gave us an option to color the guns ourselves. Btw, if you go to heraldry it takes you to the tab of the base legions in the game. >>3701 I like the scoped version for HBR. This thing rwally works like a charm, but it does need a damage buff.
>>3730 Pic related is probably another example of the spaghetti code those russians like to leave without checking what they're releasing on live servers. I think this was supposed to drop with 7.1 or something like that.
>>3721 Yeah I'm looking forward to prestiging up vanguard with it too Originally I thought sniper would have been the easiest to prestige with it, but I'm realizing the prestige grind really benefits the classes that can get online the soonest and sniper isn't really getting that until 17-20ish. Still got it to prestige IV but it wasn't as smooth as I thought it would have been Tactical on the other hand is a full murder machine by level 7, just straight up carrying exfiltration on absolute with gun strike perks and the plasma pistol giving his gun strikes an AOE
>>3747 Valius continues to be best boy.
>>3753 The thing about tactical is that it has basically no "Oh shit" buttons in terms of survivability (Besides a couple of the new prestige perks, like the 40% extra heals from stims) Instead, he's entirely about killing shit with auspex just happening to give everyone else a 75%+ damage boost too Tactical is fun because it rewards good gameplay with pretty amazing team benefits, but if you fuck up and get in a bind you don't have any gimmicks like vanguard healing, assault/bulwark gun strike armor, heavy shield or sniper cloak to get you out. You just have to git gud, but if you do you annihilate stuff.
I WAS WRONG TO EXPECT A BETTER FIGHT FROM A SNIVELING BACKSTABBER

>game gets maintenance >now the game won’t stop crashing mid mission How do these guys keep letting this happen?
>>3817 >*laughs in Emperor’s Blessing*
I never played anything when it comes to the Warhammer world and no nothing about it. However the game did look interesting from a gameplay perspective. I see SM 2 is $64 on playstation with the season pass. I remember reviews saying the game's major issue was lack of content. Is this better now?
>>23251 Well, since release the game has gotten 2 new weapons (both side pistols), 3 new operations (operations are the PVE missions so that brings you up to 9 total), a new PVP map (so I think 4 total maps but I don't PVP so I dunno). You've also got prestige ranks now, and soon horde mode. And if you get the season pass, you get a lot more customization than at launch.
>>23251 It is better but if you aren't into Warhammer, Warhammer dressup or think the idea of a co-op bamham with guns is the bee's knees it's probably not worth the full price. Season pass notably is all cosmetics that you probably won't care much about since they're mostly appealing to established Warhammer autists.
>>23264 >>23268 i'll wait then thanks. Plus I just realized Saber made this game and I hated how they handled evil dead the game
>>23275 Different Saber. Evil Dead was developed by Saber Madrid, while this one was developed by Saber St. Petersburg.
Horde mode when? Those updates are waaay too few and far between to give a meaningful boost to the playerbase. Sure the prestige is nice, but what good is a leveling system when I have to do the same on rails operations to progress. We need variety. And don't say PvP, because it's a filler last-minute mode that exists for the sake of publisher/investors.
>>23901 >Horde mode when? No sooner than May. Considering Saber now have to go through entire month of PTS the only update we'll get on Horde mode is probably in community update they release at the end of each month.
Ptach 7.1 is out They fixed that issue with Assault's unlock getting stuck behind prestige 4. Also appear to have fixed the issue with the multimelta power pack disappearing.

Also this was apparently from us, and got posted in that 40k thread up on /v/ I genuinely don't get how the ammo prestige perk for Tactical is mandatory though. Once you hit 25 again you always have ammo regen on demand.
>>24016 Anon who made pic related. Afaik it was only meant to be mandatory up until level 25, until then it was supposed to help with ammo sustain. I didn't get the chance to post the update before the site got hacked. On tac the only worthwhile perk beyond Skilled supplier is maybe second look. Either is still better then the ones we didn't highlight.
>>24082 I think spare power is pretty good. Ammo boxes are actually one of the few things that often aren't picked up even on absolute, so you could potentially get mileage out of if Then again I'm just theorizing. I'm still not even close. prestige II with assault and vanguard and everything else still at I. Nowhere near being able to say anything. So far the biggest impact from the prestige perks I've seen is sniper's versatile precision. Being able to ammo regen on secondary weapon kill is nutty. What I'm thinking I'm gonna do is >Tactical: Acuity (first pick), Resilience, Fortitude, Spare power >Assault: Duelist, Adrenaline Boost, Practiced Aim, Scrambled Targeting or Commendation >Vanguard: Indomitable Spirit, Battlefield Awareness, Launch Restoration, Well Equipped >Bulwark: Auxiliary Reload, Resiliance, Masterful Defense, Powerful Shot or Standard Bearer >Sniper: Versatile Precision, Emperor's Grace, Conviction, Exacting Focus >Heavy: Auxiliary Reload (useless until this all finishes but will be nutty on absolute prolly), Exponential Force, Reverberating Impact, Conviction That's what I'm looking at, not sure on all of them.
>>24016 one guy was theory crafting
Man the changes to the plasma incinerator are rough. Granted I don't have the ammo rgen but they really screwed it on damage. It's a good horde clear weapon though if you go bottom line now. Stalker bolter might be tactical's best weapon now for majoris dispaching though. And the heavy plasma I'm still not sure how to configure this. Top row seems to way to go for the 30% damage but it sucks on ammo.
It had been a while since I've been playing nothing but ruthless but once again I find myself face to face with the undeniable fact. Assault players are truly fucking idiots and the class is ass.
>>24383 you don't get much out of perks reliant on pick ups. the spawns can be too random and oftentimes you have to go out of your way to get ammo boxes etc. overall not bad choices for those perks, though I find Overcharge to be better option than Auxiliary Reload, but then again I run with my group and stick to melee myself. I still think that heavy should have never been built around qcb, and those two slots should be better suited to have gun-centered perks. >>25525 nta, but there were at least a few dudes chipping in over the course of two threads a the time

>>2495 I might as well post my Deathwatch Dude as well. Thanks Wall Anon.
>>24016 >>24082 Heavy Conviction has great synnergy with Emperor's Protection + Field Adjustment too as it recharges armor segments for the entire team like crazy
>>26909 >>28730 Received.
>>32449 Alright. That's useful info. I will add it to the guide. Thanks Brother.
It’s back up now.
>>40060 Glad to be of help Brother, just immediately came to mind as I first originally saw it The Adamant Will synnergy is great as it offers massive personal dmg reduction, but the above mentioned sort of cycles the Prestige 'base' reduction more often as Iron Halo is pumped out quick and adds one armor segment to the entire team - and if you lose it you trigger the Prestige again and again
>>40082 Fantastic. I'll put it in too. It's nice to have this collaborative stuff made so that we can use it later on. Since halfchan is back I'll post the new guide there.
