thats a lot of words that dont say anything.
8chan and 4chan, aside from small differences of choice, operate the same. you have a /v/ and a /vg/.
the generals should go on the dedicated /vg/ board, and anyone who seeks one out will know to go there. it's that simple. to stay on /v/ would be a deliberate choice just for the sake of exposure, which is a moot point since 8chan in general is slow vs 4chan.
>We can't just stop living our ideal because there's a temporary unintended vacation.
what the fuck does this even mean, literally nothing has changed, other than post ids on both /v/ and /vg/, and having a slower board experience than most of us are accustomed to.
>My ideal is to have anons who wish to chat with me feel welcomed and to easily talk and discuss with me amongst numerous others who think the same.
first of all, *your* personal ideal is irrelevant. who proclaimed you king of /vrg/? Second, being here or on /v/ does nothing to affecting that welcoming easy to approach feeling, because no matter where you go or what you call the threads, (I bet you're the guy who was advocating for dropping /vrg/ from the thread names arent you) the same people will be there, so the attitude will largely be the same.
>The natural conclusion is to continue to do what we do and be in the highest traffic area we can find where anyone can drop by.
go start a vr thread on /v/ then, but dont expect it to be a general. Just like on 4chan nothing was stopping anyone from making a vr thread on /v/ with a funny webm or gameplay footage. again I say, a general is for the purpose of collecting a concentrated autismo fanbase of a game, or interest. anyone interested in /vr/ will seek us out. doesnt need to be on /v/ for that.
