If I remember right, he was talking to someone who was UA, but he didn’t know that they were UA (they had lied about their age). Then someone found out their actual age (I guess their lie slipped up somewhere) and accused Ping of a lot of stuff. So he quit for a while. Then he briefly came back and posted off and on for a tiny bit (with a lot more vent art than before posted between the various vore stuff).
Then when that person became of age, they contacted him again, and wanted to “pick up where they left off”, which of course had Ping feeling extremely conflicted. I am unsure if he decided to pursue after that or not, but shortly after that he was accused of grooming, due to said person trying to contact him again, so Ping decided to leave, since he didn’t want to deal with the drama anymore. But that’s just my recollection, so some details might be wrong (and I don’t know any if the behind the scenes stuff).
He had actually left his DeviantArt and FurAffinity open after he left, so people could still go back through and look at his older stuff. Unfortunately, with him not accessing the account in a long while, both his FA and DA were hacked by some weirdo who started posting IRL feet pics and very unflattering belly pics (based on the pics, their language, and how they were easily thwarted, I’m pretty sure they were just a script kiddie), and they were actually the ones who nuked his FA gallery, and then FA staff guy involved and disabled the account all together. His DA is still up, and the “hacker’s” images removed, but said person had also removed a fair amount of Ping’s older stuff from the site (some are still up, some aren’t, seems weirdly targeted), and they also altered his site bios and posted some journals to trick extremity gullible to contact “his new Discord” (being the “hacker’s” Discord). Then DA staff finally got involved and removed the pictures, but weirdly left the changed bios (this IS DeviantArt after all, so they did the bare minimum), so if you go there now, there’s a lot of changes from Ping to “Greg” on there.
Some people suspect that the script kiddie was either that person who lied to Ping initially (and with them still being young-ish, and presumably with disposable income now) got the cheapest “hack” they could get (and slightly understand, or just paid someone else to do it) and wanted mess with their not-even-an-ex’s profiles. Which might mean Ping decided not to pursue after all and the other person was a weirdo the whole time. But then again, the whole thing is just hearsay.
But yeah, Ping’s stuff was really nice. I liked how he did the prey outlines, and how wet/squelchy he made the vore look.
