here's the premise so far: basically the professor not only went missing, they went missing carrying a magic/science rock called a dreamstone. the lab was planning on using it to power a machine that would let them analyze pokemon's dreams. Since no one else at the lab can go search for a new one, it's up to the mc, first day on the job as a lab assistant, to go out and find one. This is the rival, an ace rookie (which doesn't make sense) that tried to take that mission away from me just now

idk if it's every side quest, but in the game's summary it mentioned that you would be presented with choices like these where you will only get one, possibly ever.

I think it's 3 games in a row now where the first meditite I get has pure power and good attack, makuhita just can't compete

so instead of getting an estus you get one heal pass when you visit a center that you can use with joys on the route. no pass, no heal, and the rub is the way back to the center is blocked off, I'd have to white out to get back to it, so the only way is forward >>7955 too early to tell. it's trying to make routes challenging by preventing running back to the center so you actually buy healing items, but trainers aren't paying out a lot yet. also you can buy mints for $200 each at any mart, but which ones you can buy are based on badge count, with no badges it's impish/calm/relaxed only kek

can't find the documentation for this game that the dev says exists, so from what I've seen you don't have many options for the rock type gym. I've seen cubone in the wild, tinka in the wild, and budew and sinistcha from events. I hope you like rollout spam. you get a rare shard for winning, which is supposed to let you raise the iv of one of your pokemon, but the plot prevents you from doing it for now.

Revival also got a new update, RG seemed to really like the demo for it. even though I won they tried taking it anyway, but it activated it and transported me and what I think is supposed to be the second rival to this awful desert full of nothing but lileep and shieldon. when you escape you run into the scientist filling in for the missing professor, and he tells you it must've transported the mc to ancient cormoria. but it would've just been a dream of it I guess, but it was the entire place and not just the pokemon there...again this time travel with extra steps and a bronze medal in mental gymnastics on how this isn't just time travel
