great game, great beach episode. I tried out the memory minigame, it's just the dancing gimmick from sakura's gym. the other one is battling, it's 3 or 4 rounds of fighting famous trainers like ilia, the painter woman, the fat ginger kid...all those memorable people. crying shame you can't get sunglasses though. also that weird egg takes 30k steps to hatch, so that's not happening right now. one thing I will say as a definite negative about this game: WHERE THE FUCK ARE THE ICE TYPES? it's often really hard to express how hard a certain fight is without doing it yourself. the dewgong was terrible, aurora veil is GG on top of how much snowy mountain buffs ice defenses and triple axel one shots nearly everything, even my steel types. the pogchamp was terrible. the cloyster had ridiculously buffed spdef. the worst of all was the beartic, which did force me to burn my first consumable of the run in a chople berry. otherwise there was just no way to 1v1 it, it either was too strong and fast or was too inconsistent due to icicle crash flinches. i actually got lucky with flinches of my own here, but didn't need them to win Whiteouts: 134 (+12) https://streamable.com/h0kizz
