Mystery Gifts and Other Distribution Events Anonymous 09/21/2025 (Sun) 23:26:37 Id: 75995c No. 20257
Free Pokemon! Get your free Pokemon here! Use this thread to discuss Mystery Gifts and other kinds of distribution events, past and present. Stay informed about current or upcoming gifts, or talk about what Pokemon or items you hope to see distributed someday. Do you have any fond memories of any distribution events that you participated in years ago, such as Mew or Deoxys? Talk about those here too!
>>20257 This was talked about in the Shiny Pokemon thread >>20188 , but it is worth reiterating here. The Shiny forms of the Treasures of Ruin quartet are all available to get through Mystery Gift on Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. September 30th, which is the end of this month, is the final day to get these pokemon. It is highly unlikely that these pokemon will be distributed through official means ever again, so it's worth taking the time to download them all.
>>20257 Additionally, Shiny Koraidon and Shiny Miraidon will be distributed soon by download code. From September 26th through October 15th, players can travel in-person to stores and get this code. Players will receive a Shiny Koraidon if the code is entered into Violet version, and if it is entered into Scarlet version, the player will receive a Shiny Miraidon. The store to receive these codes varies by region. If you are in the United States, it will be GameStop. If you are in Australia, New Zealand, or Canada, it will be EB Games. If you are in Japan, there will be codes at various game stores across the country. https://archive.ph/KPR7c
Good thread. >>20261 Their shinies are so good.
>>20290 >Their shinies are so good. They are, most legendaries have pretty good shinies, but theirs really are nice. The colors are different enough to make it clear that they are special, but not odd and unfitting. The black and red on Koraidon are great, and the light silver matches well with the light purple and blue on Miraidon.
>>20261 The Shiny Miradon/Koraidon codes are now being distributed! (Or depending on where you are, they have been available for almost 24hrs). Make sure to get out there and get one if you can! Has anyone else faced any difficulty getting these codes? It seems like if you aren't one of the first customers of the day, you just don't have much of a chance of getting one, due to seemingly very limited numbers being given to stores. Of course this can all depend on store and location, but some stores were all out of cards by the end of the morning.
>>20261 For anons in Italy, it seems like there will be a distribution of Shiny Miraidon and Koraidon for you all as well! From now until October 15th, if you go to any Gamelife store, you can pick up a code to use in your game. It seems like there is an extra step, though. You must bring in a copy of Scarlet or Violet as well as your Switch system to prove that you own the game. This should have been done in all the other locations, too. Personally, I was unable to get a code even though I stopped by my local stores on the first day they were available. According to employees, codes were gone shortly after opening, and there were lines outside before the stores even opened. Were there that many pokemon fans waiting? Did they just give codes to every customer without asking if they really owned the game? It doesn't help that it seems like some stores were given a very small number of code cards. For many people, the codes were given out starting on a weekday morning. Kids are at school, most adults are at work. Were adults without jobs/adults who took the day off the only ones to get codes? Seems like the days of kids getting cool legendary pokemon through cards are mostly over if this is the trend.
