Is the drama about a new Minecraft server? just read about that. Personally I don't think that has long-term drama potential. I think Kanna's emotions around it are extremely valid. I can relate to getting scooped like that; it does not feel good. But the market abhors a vacuum. Or if you prefer, competing capitals seize unexploited niches, dispossessing rivals and transforming every opportunity into valorized profit.

I don't really think there's anything in VSMP's branding that isn't generic because I think the point of it was to represent the abstract concept of "a Minecraft server with lots of VTubers on it" without any particular theme or direction. That's fine on its own, but if your branding is "we are the baseline form of this and we're not doing anything special" you can't really expect to look special, and you shouldn't expect everyone after you to become special just because you were generic first

The biggest SMPs in history are usually full words or sentences, Hermitcraft doesn't even use SMP in the title and it's the most popular and longest running MC creator SMP

Also I might have been wrong about other SMPs using blocks for the font but I do remember seeing it a lot growing up. I'm sure you can find examples in channel banners, non-SMP public servers, modpacks, etc. Basically I don't think of that as a VSMP invention, I think of it as a VSMP decision >>947934 I do have an argument for this by itself, but in context I have to counter it by clarifying that my argument has changed from "it's not stealing if you think it's all genericized" to "it's okay to steal things that are generic" because I did start out thinking she didn't steal it but no, she definitely did.
