>And if it's not divegrass, it could even be another sport, like rugby or handegg.
It's not as easy as you think it is anon. As a sportsfag and fan of board events, let me explain why
>Let's go with American Football!
The PC Modding scene for Madden have very minimal asset replacement tools, with the newest games mostly texture edits. The PC purists are like us with divegrass, opting to play on older builds because the gameplay is better. However they don't typically support pirates. You'd have to opt for College Football for the Xbox 360 for the most open source game, but that also requires an anon will the time to make the required team/s and even than the model injection stuff is a fairly recent find.
>Fine. Let's be like those Euro's and play something like Rugby, Cricket or Tennis?
Nacon games have no mod support, stat. We'd have to be peak "plummer era" with Cricket 24, given you can create teams and players in-game. Uploads are possible to avoid one sole anon making everything. But also it's fucking Cricket. Cricket made by the French.
>Golf?
American's are bored by 1-1 games. You want to risk Golf? Also the newest titles (2K and EA) have next to no mod support and do not let you do CPU vs. CPU matches. Maybe Hot Shots will provide such meme nonsense when it comes to Steam in the near future.
>Ice Hockey?
EA have this series locked to console. Why? EA sale stats indicate that the series hasn't pass 1million units sold since 2021. You'd have to edit an old PS2 or even N64 build to have such a concept work.
>Racing?
Covered already, even if the lads hosting it are peak spergs
>Baseball?
MLB is currently locked to console, so we have no idea if it would get proper PC modding support if ported. Professional Baseball Spirits 2024 - 2025 is region locked for the Japs and I don't think we have anyone weeb enough to break it down like PES since it is a Konami IP. This leaves you with Pro Pros, which has been attempted by the 4CC guys during off-season and Super Mega Baseball; which I don't think ever attempted mod support.
>More Wrestling
We have multiple shows as is and most of the technical stuff to make it shine are being handled by one or two autists. Support the shows ongoing
>Fighting?

>No, I mean REAL Fighting
THQ UFC titles have minor modding support, but not enough to write home about. Much like College Football, it would have to be a passion project from a sole anon. I have no insight on any Boxing games out in the wild
>FUCK IT, MORE DIVEGRASS
EA FC has model swapping but next to no tactical depth
