>will they be physically
I don't think so, no.
>and permanently prevented from posting in the thread?
Only repeat offenders get perma-bans, but most can learn how to creep between the cracks anyways or use to their favor the "rules".
But at least here we have a moderation present and that doesn't actively hate you, compared to the one existing in 4chan.

I was gonna point that out, there is no text referencing you, and your head is so tiny that it might be passed as a random addition or error when editing the image, something that says "Finbar Haughey" somewhere would be nice IMO

>summary of your vtubing career!
Late 2023, started as a joke, stayed around because it seemed interesting and full of potential.
>joys from vtubing
Getting to talk about the things that I obsess over, the things that I see or read, seeing people be themselves or the character that they like to play, the general idea of community projects and all the alike stuff, the possibility of creating something interesting not only for myself but for anyone who sees it. There might be too many nice things to just list them here, but many of those are simply part of the social aspect that comes with vtubing itself; the wonders of meeting new people are as many as there are humans alive.
>why you do it
Because I like it and enjoy it, even when it looks like I only suffer during streams, also because there are certain goals or things that I believe are achievable, so it would be rather disappointing to simply not do it when those things seem at some point achievable.
>reason for starting
Because it seemed like a funny thing.
>do you have a model/assets? how much do these cost you? / other expenses from vtubing
I have spent maybe 50~60$ combining everything, "model" was created by me so free, assets the same, the only things that had a cost were microphone and earphones (and I should be trying to get a new, better mic, but that hasn't happened yet so I don't need to count that money that still sits unspent)
>how to grow your channel (or if you haven't had a breakthrough, what have you been trying?)
It doesn't feel like a personal question based on what I understand, you grow by: being consistent, making offline things, networking, having something that could catch people's interest. On my personal experience, even if you do very niche stuff it can work as long as your heart is put on the creation itself.
>how to make friends? >_<
Too hard of a question, because it involves too many things that you should have learnt to do by yourself; you speak with people, do it then repeteadly, slowly build up trust and a connection based on mutual interest or goals, then from there just rinse and repeat.
>do you just reply to random people or join a random stream and start chatting in their chat hoping they notice?
That is the very first step, yes. You could even become friends with someone who you just happened to meet through a collab organized by another person which both of you joined because you had good banter, but the first part is most certainly trying to see if they are approachable at all, then just doing safe enough things that wouldn't make the other person angry or displeased
it's overly weird to describe it as if there really existed no notion about these things, but stuff that should be common sense is: don't say weird, overly sexual, incredibly specific, insulting, or mean things if you don't know if they will work in the given context of the conversation
>how do you fit streams into your daily schedule (e.g. after work, in between uni classes, rest days, other hobbies)
That's the neat part, I don't! I would love to stream in the morning as I'm waking up, then proceed with the rest of the day, to deal with the thing that I have found it requires most of my energy and attention first then move to lower complexity tasks, so to speak.
but once again, most days I either procrastinate too hard the going to bed or need those extra hours (probably because I did stay up for far too much) so I end up not getting enough sleep, so the ideal plan doesn't come into fruition as much as I would like it to
>how to not run out of content to stream?
Do more of the things that you like on stream, read if you like reading, content-react if that's what allows you to go for a dozen hours, hang with friends if the aspect of sharing a chat with them is what refreshes you up, get a big enough backlog so that you don't feel like you will run out of games to play if that's what you are looking for.
