Hello liggermen I hope all is well. It's the start of May, which means it's time for our monthly breakdown of the top 25 twitch indies and the top 5 Youtube Indies. As usual the numbers are based on average ccv for all streams the whole month and are sourced from either from twitchtracker or Playboard depending on the platform and everyone listed streamed at least 3 times that month or more. For the month of April, Shondo and Camila who are normally mainstays both did not stream enough to qualify for tracking, both for very good reason. Hopefully they are feeling better and get back to their usual selves soon. Note that Matara Kan will not be tracked in this month's numbers for being in vshojo most of the month but will be tracked next month.

Notes:
>So the elephant in the room for this months numbers on twitch is the incident with sinder has completely fucked our ability to tell what was or was not natural growth for many big name vtubers due to massive, massive drama based viewership buffs. Shylily, Bao, and Vienna all saw viewership boosts of over 50%, and Squchan and Kenji saw viewership boosts of over 15% by merely reacting to the drama and reading the docs on multiple streams. Another beneficiary of all of this was Spite who went from averaging 480 ccv in march to skyrocketing to averaging 2114 ccv since the Sinder docs dropped. It will take us some time to see how all of this will level out over the coming months, especially with Summer rolling in and more people having free time to watch, but I'll keep it noted in future round ups.
>As for Sinder herself, she hasn't streamed since everything went down so we don't have a hard CCV to point to as proof for things one way or the other, however we can get an inkling of how it will go based on her unfollow rate. At the start of the drama, Sinder was at 347k followers and on the fast track to 350k, as of writing she is down to 312k, a staggering loss of 35k viewers. Future does not bode well for her
>Our other notable down was Vedal, down 14%, however this has a good explanation as the last few months have been very event heavy for Neuro and Evil, so it's a natural correction to more average content.
>Arielle, who was also a major down at 23% down, was hit with the post new model debut downward slide. Usually nothing to panic about.
>Overall most vtubers this month ticked upwards in viewership, even if it was just a little bit. This tends to be the trend as spring rolls into summer and people are on breaks and out of school to watch more often.
>Outside of Drama buffs Nyanners had one of the bigger jumps at a 30% viewership increase, marking the second month in a row she has moved upwards after months of downwards trends. Her new model debut plus a fairly consistent streaming schedule has her on a major rebound.
>In the Youtube Numbers, Nimi continues her dominance as the hands down largest Indie when it comes to viewership. She received a buff thanks to the official model debut, however she has not had a single month as an indie where she did not crack 10K ccv or higher, making her the biggest fish, Neuro-sama included.
>Also on youtube, Peo made her debut in the top 5. She is consistently around 2k now and has a really good traction going for her. Looking forward to seeing where life leads her.
That's all I have for you this month liggas, I will catch you next month.
