Despite whatever problems you may have about moderation, the design and functionality of the base 4chan + 4chanX is immaculate. 8moe has a lot of bells and whistles with the expansions on file size and type and the formatting options, but it's faltering with the basics, the aspects of the site that drive discussion:
>Regularly stops showing you new posts
>Doesn't tell you if someone replied to you
>Doesn't tell you when someone replied to you, a fix for which is supposedly dead simple but has been teased for weeks at this point
>Doesn't scale the images to match your browser's size on the imageboard, forced to open them in a new tab or download them to view them properly
>Native filenames look like viruses instead of using Unix timestamps
>Thread watcher that doesn't notify you when someone replied to you
>Doesn't have comprehensive archival sites (not really the fault of the 8moe devs but 4chan does have those and it is a boon for them)
The simple fact is it's harder to follow discussion here than on 4chan, which is the sole purpose of both of these websites

I'd rather not march in there and demand things that have probably already been requested dozens of times at this point, especially not when their energy is going towards keeping the site from going down completely. I'll just stick to 4chan primarily until they have the time to improve things here
