I slept twice a day for about 3-4 hours each to catch her streams for years but had to stop. Nowadays I typically catch the last few hours of her later streams. I've generally reduced the amount of attention I pay to streams as well, since they've taken up too much of my attention and too much of my time, and this has resulted in my viewing experience for my oshi in particular to suffer since I don't know Japanese well enough to second monitor her and still get the full experience. Since fixing my schedule I've gotten into a whole host of English-speaking vtubers, some who I've watched nearly every stream of since I started watching them, and I watch them way more than my oshi, but they just don't hit the same. I still love my oshi way more than them even after all the exposure. If you're worried about not being able to catch your oshi's streams and watching someone else more, I'd say don't worry about it, it might not actually change how you feel about your oshi. If you're big on chat interaction I guess it does bring up an issue though lol.
