Sorry for doomposting, but I sincerely think we're entering the last year or two of "free access" internet. Most first world countries are aiming to enact something similar to the UK's Online Safety totalitarian horse shit. Australia has their own version of it, the US has two separate "fuck you" bills loaded, KOSA and SCREEN. The EU wants unrestricted access to all "private" messaging systems to "scan for CSAM". Visa and Mastercard are waving their monopolized payment processed dicks around to stop revenue anywhere they disagree with. There's clearly a unified global push to censor and stifle the internet, I think it's unlikely this won't have huge ramifications in the near future. Zog corpos will be only too happy to bend the knee, as will too many sheep who simply shrug in frustration but provide their ID anyway to keep getting their internet hit.
YouTube is apparently planning on implementing AI to try and determine the age of users, beginning next month. I'm sure Twitch isn't far behind in whatever version they implement. New rules on what's allowed to be broadcasted or uploaded is sure to follow.
I've said it before but archive anything you want to hold onto locally. Make backups. It's all going away, the rug is slipping and I expect it to one day be pulled out entirely.
