Usually long-form content doesn't get translated. Doing a Best Of is much shorter and easier, and a lot of the content in full streams is pretty boring. There just aren't enough translators to do it. Even some extensive translations (Pekora's MGS runs) are still condensed, and they're unfinished because the translator only releases about 20 minutes every couple weeks. If you really want the whole thing "translated", your best option is probably YouTube automatic subtitles. They'll generate them and translate them into any language using Google Translate automatically. It's imperfect and you still need to know a little Japanese because some proper nouns are not translated, but you can get the gist.

>>11 5 years later and the automatic subtitles are almost as shitty now as they were then. Thankfully, these days there are more tools that can get you semi-decent results. My pipeline looks something like this: >download the stream and separate the audio >remove any BGM for cleaner results using demucs >transcribe with whisper >translate the entire thing with google translate or whatever else >loosly match the translated sentences with the original timestamps from whisper Thanks to the full transcription the translator has more context to work with and gets you better results than translating it word by word, which is what the automatic subtitles usually try to do. I'm curious to see if the AI subtitles thing from VLC wizards will be even better.

i use "Video CC Translator" add-on on chrome. Its the only reason i use chrome. Because for some reason. Firefox youtube autotranslate refuses to translate once the streams passes 5hrs. I use it to watch Noel's streams and it translates all the way through even 11hr streams. Granted its not 100% accurate but its does the job.
