Her complementing or flirting with guys. Her joking that she was never going to be fair. I don't see anyone else the way I do her. I don't want her looking at anyone else in that way. Her saying we can look together isn't something I want. Her getting carried away or swept up in something while drunk out in public. You can choose which one to read. Personal anecdote: The past few months Immy has been progressively getting more social and leaving the house more often. It made me realize that she's putting forth a genuine effort grow. For what reason? I couldn't tell you. On my end, I was getting jealous and it was creating constant heartache. Thinking the same thoughts you're thinking right now. I got tired of feeling like shit over something I had zero control over. So I did the only thing I had the ability to control, I pulled back significantly. I still care for Immy, a great deal in fact. But I can't pretend she's my girlfriend anymore. I can't keep loving her knowing that it will never truly be reciprocated. I know the handful of ways this will end and none of them would be good for my heart. I've found this new way of handling this relationship easier to manage and I've been a lot happier and significantly less jealous. Take away from this what you will. I felt that offering a different perspective might help you. Cold hard truth: We've got to face the facts. You're not the only one who sees her in a special light. We can't love her forever and vice versa. People grow and change and as I mentioned earlier, she's making a significant effort to do so. She will continue to be outside the house more often and she will keep trying to socialize. None of us can control that and I don't believe we can have much influence over it either. Loving a hundred dudes over the internet is only satisfying for so long. We can't fulfill all of her needs. Someday she will inevitability find someone and there's a good chance it won't be any of us. Whether that's by accident or her conscious choice is likely not for us to find out. Whether that happens before or after she stops streaming for us is to be seen. You will continue to be in the endless loop of brainworms as the months go on unless you can accept reality.
