Crobat, Linoone, and so on also trivialize it. Hell, i've even managed with a beautifly. You can trivialize nuzlockes with most high offensive focus base stat pokemon, EV training, and a strong moveset.
You can trivialize a nuzlocke by sticking to almost any middling 2-4 pokemon so they're just overleveled as balls. With EVs on point and neutral coverage it just sweeps the opponent down or you use a tank to enable a setup and sweep.
If you're looking up the opponent's movesets and statlines it's really not hard to just use bulky leads with stat lowering moves to cripple them.
Any pokemon with shell/battle armor or high speed and lucky chant can spam x-items since you can farm trainers for cash with the rematch. Because they can't crit you, it's impossible to lose, you stack up +6 and sweep.
If it wasn't gen III, even mid-pokemon like Swalot can just use stockpile and potions then sweep a team. The base game really isn't hard. That's why you have to play the difficulty hacks if you care.
