it will always survive as some niche because nerds love it but WWE going down and AEW failing will kill off america's interest in it Japan and Mexico are different entirely and i doubt it'll ever truly die there

Do you mean what will kill WWE? Pro Wrestling is just fine right now on the indie scene, it's only WWE that's bleeding like a stuck pig, actually interest in wrestling in general seems to be on the rise vs 10 years ago. As for what will finally kill WWE: Nothing, they have too much money, however Vince will die, hand the reigns to the King of Kings and it will probably at the least stabilize.

Pro-wrestling globally however is doing *ok* as there are still numerous companies who are firmly in the control of wrestling carnies who understand the business. As long as those types stay in control the business will continue to exist, even flourish.
