Fifth match was Davis Storm getting fucking murdered by Minoru Suzuki. At the start Suzuki invited Storm to chop him stiff, which Storm did, and Suzuki hardly moved. In response, Storm offered his chest, Suzuki put him on his arse (as in, not BREAKfall, just fucking knocked him down) with one of his chest slaps. Silly bugger tried again twice, ended up with a fucked up chest (to be frank I wouldn't be surprised if he tore a pectoral slightly). Match was a squash, but seemed a bit abbreviated which makes me think that Storm might have fucked his chest up at the start a bit much. Still fun to watch Suzuki straight up kill a man for our entertainment.
Sixth match was Ishii and Jay White taking on Mick Moretti (think a bigger, balding Delirious and you will know who he is) and KUSHIDA. Match was very good, Moretti looked like a natural with these guys, good chants of "you fucked up" when he tagged in and then said directly to Jay White "I WANT ISHII". He got Ishii, and regretted that decision very much so. Good match, could have been a main event tag to be honest.
Seventh match was a triple threat, Robbie Eagle, Cody and Will Ospreay. The crowd was literally split on Cody, the side I was in was booing him, the other side was cheering him. This worked well into the match, as he started appealing more to the other side of the crowd until someone called out "we want Stardust" from our side. At that point Cody decided to have some fun, which was refreshing, he kept teasing our side with Stardust spots (like doing the cartwheel but then immediately giving us all the finger, to which we cheered Stardust), teasing a Shattered Dreams and then just punching Eagle instead, and so on. Cody won by pulling Ospreay out of the ring and pinning Eagle after Ospreay hit the Arsecutter, and then he kept beating on Eagle, and teased a One Winged Angel (so the bullet club BREAKup was still being teased on this tour). Ospreay comes in and saves Eagle, hits Cody with an Arsecutter, Eagle hits his 450 splash, everyone is happy.
Main event time, and we had EVIL and SANADA taking on Rocky Romero and Okada. All four guys got big pops, Okada didn't work much (I assume that he was added to the tour on short notice after Tanahashi had to drop out) but his stuff was great, as was Rocky and LIJ's work. Match ended with Evil pinning Rocky. Match was also noted for the fans having a lot of banter with the ref, mainly revolving around his lax rules enforcement (the whole crowd knew that NJPW is lax on rules but since it was a local ref we were having some fun at his expense as Perth rules are normally a bit tighter) and his inability to count to 3.
Show was good, everyone was over, crowd was good. you should be proud of me /wooo/, I cheered Chase loudly as the main event talent when nobody else would, before Kenny got the crowd on his side. I will also always consider it a highlight that I got Suzuki to glance up in my direction happily as I called out support to him, he didn't BREAK character but it was nice, also got Juice to point at me happily, and got most of the crowd laughing in the last match with a call that I wouldn't have made had I had the time to think about it.
Show was good, Bullet Club split is being teased heavily in house shows which bodes well for the Honor Rising tour, everyone looked to be on form and NJPW is quite serious about expanding into Asia-Pacific further.
