Dead ideas just don't stay dead in Hollywood. They'll revive any idea they can, usually for the worse, if they can get you to pay for it to get a shred of nostalgia. Let's vent our frustrations once more together. Starting off with something I'm actually looking forward to, Primal season 3 has been teased with a sort of return of Spear. From the looks of it, this season will likely lack the human element almost entirely as Spear goes on an undead journey of mystical brutal horror. Hopefully people will warm up to the series again after some turned on season 2. Now for something I'm less than enthused about. Guillermo Del Toro's Frankenstein. He took a story about playing God & made it into a movie about generational trauma daddy issues & ugly woman romance. At least the monster looks somewhat book accurate for once. That's the only plus I can give it. The casting for Victor & his fiance cousin are all wrong. I already hate Del Taco for his literally gay communist propaganda ugly woman on monster movie, The Shape of Water. Along with his more childish Pinocchio movie he had to make about fascism then did nothing creative with it. At least this movie's only Netflix so you don't have to pay any money for it if you just pirate it. Now onto capeshit, Supergirl is still slated for next year along with Clayface. Yeah a Clayface solo movie. Which has officially wrapped filming. Now while I want this to be good.... I don't have faith in the Gunn led universe if he's going to keep shoving in his stupid fucking politics & alienating raunchy humor. Look no further than his Peacemaker show that's ended with season 2 & sets up a loosely based Salvation Run plot for the next Superman movie. The show that equates Christians to Nazis & how America is little different from Nazi Earth X. Gunn's such a fucking retard. He's going to continuously drive people away with his politics. WB is literally on the cusp of being sold to Saudi Arabia because they're not profitable enough.
>>58875 The entire point of Space King is being immature since it's meant as a parody, Haz-Helluva and Rick & Morty play things straight.
>>58875 I think the main difference is that space king doesn’t come across as a “fuck you dad” show.
>>58883 >space king doesn’t come across as a “fuck you dad” show When boiled down, isn't the entire show essentially about a bunch of kids looking for their cool space dad?
>>58789 OH FUCK!!! I just realize, isn't this the plot to Hancock?
>>58885 No. Not at all.
>>58884 Sure, but it's still more of a "I love you Dad, and hope you come back with that milk bottle", as opposed to "fuck you dad". >>58885 Only in the superficial sense of "drunk, vagabond superhero becomes legit".
Something to taste off Seth Rogen's turd.
>>58927 Reminds me of Home On The Range, one of the underrated movies from Yidsney's "dark" period.
Some news on Ember, Sergio's long delayed production after Netflix dropped him after Klaus. This is from 2 months ago so it's quite recent. https://www.cartoonbrew.com/feature-film/sergio-pablos-ember-still-alive-256236.html >"Pablos made clear that Ember is anything but dead. “We’ve spent the last two years continuing to work on it whenever possible,” he told the crowd. “We’re now at the brink of hopefully making a serious play to bring it back into production.”"
>>58928 >underrated I remember basically nothing about this film, and I was young enough to want to see it on release because "Disney lul" (or at least saw enough ads for it that seeing it was inevitable). Wasn't this the one that killed Disney's 2D animation production through sheer mediocrity?
>>58930 >Wasn't this the one that killed Disney's 2D animation production through sheer mediocrity? No, that was Brother Bear, the film that proceeded it. And they were already pivotting towards 3D animation by then. HOTR falls into the same camp as the rest of the "Dark Age", where it was in development hell for years as a result of management decisions.

‘Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender’ Will Skip Theaters and Debut on Paramount+ Alongside New ‘Seven Havens’ Series https://archive.fo/GH0O8 >The upcoming feature The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender will bypass a theatrical debut in theaters in October 2026 and premiere on Paramount+. In the film adaptation, the world’s last Airbender earns of an ancient power that could save his culture from extinction. With the help of his friends, he embarks on a global quest to find it before it falls into the wrong hands and threatens to upend the peace they sacrificed everything to achieve. >Seven Havens, set in a world shattered by a devastating cataclysm, follows a young Earthbender who discovers she’s the new Avatar after Korra — but in this dangerous era, that title marks her as humanity’s destroyer, not its savior. Hunted by both human and spirit enemies, she and her long-lost twin must uncover their mysterious origins and save the Seven Havens before civilization’s last strongholds collapse. >Produced by Nickelodeon Animation, Seven Havens consists of 26 episodes divided between Book 1 (13 half-hour episodes) and Book 2 (13 half-hour episodes). DiMartino and Konietzko serve as co-creators and executive producers. Ethan Spaulding is executive producer, and Sehaj Sethi is co-executive producer.
>>59032 Seems incredibly pointless. Especially being released alongside a sequel to Korra where everything's gone wrong.

>>59032 >One series 20 years ago is only now getting a movie in the time between the end of that and Korra. >It's skipping theaters after the recent Spongebob movie bombed and alongside the sequel series that doesn't even look like ATLA anymore. >They did even bring back Aang or Sokka's VAs because 'They're too white".
>>59044 *They didn't even.

>>58091 >brie larson? >people will suck it up And apparently it was acceptable for her to break up with her boyfriend because she was too busy figuring out how a wiimote functions when playing Mario Galaxy, imagine if the roles were swapped, every fucking cuck would've sided with her and trashed on her boyfriend for not wasting his seed in her. Emma Watson 2.0 is going to have her mediocre career resuscitated thanks to the good word of Bing Wahoo. >>58093 While a good chunk of mainline Mario games that could've perfectly worked for a sequel got ignored and/or reduced as member-berry shit, it's a miracle that a character like Foreman Spike finally got a 3d model. >>58235 Gotta bank the nostalgiafaggotry of those iPad kids whose Wii's are just collecting dust. >>58448 there is a thread based on z-tier online artists, please bump that one instead

>>58380 Shit like Game Over the CGI cartoon from 2005 was a heads up on what'd happen if videogame tv shows kept on being produced post-DiC: >The genre attracts adults and teens <But primarily think of the thin-skinned dykes giving us the TV rating and could peg and rape all over the project by airing it during midnight on weekdays. >>58758 Hope it gets shitcanned just like with the lost Catwoman movie, can't believe the autists at the LostMedia wiki got livid because of a pile of shit got deleted from every hard drive. Truly an Alexandria library moment. >>59044 <The recent sponge movie flopped But it won't be enough to finally put Spongebob to sleep.
>>59078 You mean the cancelled Batgirl movie. They got too much riding on it to cancel this.
(30.56 MB 640x360)I am a Midwit.mp4
>>58789 >harley quinn <but with superpowers I swear, there's no worse fate than becoming mainstream and have every theater kid and terminal online midwit wanting a piece of that cake once it got neutered enough. >>59079 >It was actually Batgirl It's so easy to get a Mandela effect with this shit and I thought the posters with SuperGirl were promotions to Gunn's Superman and not her own spinoff movie.
>>59080 I don't see the comparisons to Harley Quinn. Especially not to girlboss lesbian modern Harley. It's clear Kara's gonna go through an arc where she embraces being a hero by the end of the movie.
>>59080 What's the point about that video other than admitting he's a midwit and then confirming all the problems that midwits have?

Another Wonder Man trailer. It's literally just meta bullshit on actors playing characters they don't fit. Written & directed by reddit. Fully expect some rant about race in the show.
>>59199 I cannot for the life of me remember the name of the song used in the trailer. Also, while the series is guarenteed shit, I do like the premise of a super trying to hide his powers and live a normal life. However they fumbled the execution from the start because (1) it just feels like it's going to be following the exact same tropes first established with the Bill Bixby Hulk series from the 70's and (2) this kind of story would work out much better in Yidsney's own Incredibles universe. As while we did get one side of the story in terms of the Par family, it would be interesting to see other supers trying to cope, such as those struggling to find other ways to help people that doesn't require the use of their powers.
>>59203 The basic concept isn't bad. It's the fact it's the MCU & their poor poor attempt at not really adapting Wonder Man that sucks.
>>59103 It should give you an explanation on why and how dogshit movies get made and somehow get popular around mainstream sites including fucking rule34 >>59199 >Movie about a failed theater kid wanting to go somewhere in his nonexistent career >Somehow is in contact with Ben Kingsley <PLOT TWIST: the theater kid is an omnipotent being with the Marvel tag slapped on it >But he's struggling to fit in with society <He's so relatable big chungus They managed to make an uninteresting plot even less interesting, bravo Yidsney.
>>59207 Not omnipotent. Just has powers for some raisin.
(155.07 KB 1280x720)Phase 6.jpg
>>59199 First I'm hearing of it, Disney really thinks they're being cute and clever doing these bits of soft pandering to the mainstream opinion with this one, huh? They're gonna find a few ways to subtly justify the MCU continuing for a few more years under a veil of irony, they kinda have to, There's still ten more films/seasonal series (let's be real, the live action ones are 8-12 hour long films) in the production pipeline, seven set for a 2026 release even. >>59203 FOUND IT, Barber of Seville Overture, one of those classic songs that gets used everywhere https://yewtu.be/watch?v=r2QNLu6xsWc (2:20)
>>59211 Of course. It's all just too damn meta for it's own good. Can't just have a straight forward white male led series about a hero who's also an actor juggling both lives before a major crisis forces him to embrace his heroic side first.
>>59211 How the hell are they going to squeeze in Vision Quest after Doomsday?
>>59211 >Late 2026 It's an 8 episode Disney+ series, it can easily release alongside a theatrical film without much trouble. If you mean within the MCU, same way they squeezed in Black Widow after Endgame. Call it a prequel and shove it out the door with 10% of the budget and marketing of the previous film just to sustain the content and hype trains. I want Doomsday to fail and close the MCU with it, but that's asking for too much it seems.

>‘Wish Dragon 2’ Is In Production https://archive.fo/Ac7Um >Warner Bros. Unveils ‘Scooby-Doo! Gokko’ Anime Adaptation https://archive.ph/nwWvj >We heard back from Warner Bros., and Scooby-Doo! Gokko won’t be a series, but rather a collection of shorts similar to the Tom & Jerry Gokko promotions linked in this article. The company also confirmed that the shorts are unrelated to Go-Go Mystery Machine, which is still in development, with news coming soon. >Netflix’s ‘Scooby-Doo’ live-action series will begin filming in April. https://archive.ph/hfcX3
>>59265 >Netflix’s ‘Scooby-Doo’ live-action series will begin filming in April. Ugh....
>>59199 They're trying to make a superhero film for people who are sick of superhero films. I don't think its going to work.
>>59267 More of the same ironic meta crap but not y'know done with a character it'd make sense for.
>>59265 >Netflix’s ‘Scooby-Doo’ live-action series will begin filming in April. Hope it gets canceled before release, like that shitty Powerpuff Girls live-action show.
