From the writer that brought you the Harley Quinn fart book, we have 2 Fire and Ice minis. The first one, Fire & Ice: Welcome to Smallville is from a few years ago, and the second one Fire & Ice: When Hell Freezes Over started today. I'm going to post the Welcome to Smallville trade, because it has the short story from the Power Girl Special that launched this mini, and I'll be posting the first issue of When Hell Freezes Over. It can't be as bad as the fart book, right?

Welcome to Smallville is about Fire and Ice being grounded by Superman and put in timeout in Smallville, where they just cause trouble. I honestly think this mini was wasted potential because Smallville is kind of overlooked these days and you could pull from old Superboy comics for some fun stories. Instead we just get the author trying to make a comedy book like Giffen and DeMatteis's JLI, but the writer is incredibly unfunny.

In between the first Fire and Ice mini and this one, DC had an event where a bunch of heroes had their powers swapped. Fire and Ice currently have swapped powers. So Fire has ice powers and Ice has fire powers.

Also if this is something that applies to the mini as a whole and not just from the point where it's brought up in this post, I apologize for not knowing but I'm not going to read it after seeing who made it and the tone of the cover art (well drawn at least).
