New age fucked with the vagus nerve for a long time, I completely ignored the subject because I didn't see anything esoteric in it. a few days ago I saw a video of an autistic kid with headphones listening to music and the guy seemed to be in another world, in his inner vibe music, kinda a lot energy, he was spinning around and even seemed to be in an altered state of consciousness or something. I tried to imitate him out of mere curiosity and it felt abysmally stimulating to move my body, head and neck to the rhythm of pleasant music (even sit) >it gave me a lot of chills I am trying it with different music and in all of them I feel a different ‘'sensation’' or energy, it feels incredibly pleasant. why i never tried it before?

Singing myself into trance states was quite nice, but it only works if my entire heart and soul is in the singing technique. I cannot half ass it. And about the vagus nerve. I am noticing that when energy is traveling through it I am not always feeling it within my body anymore. It's like very thin air currents are going through my skin or the insides of my ear is being licked. First I thought that entities are fucking with me, but after further testing I realized I can replicate it with focused energy work. I am not really up to date with the scientific or with the new age vagus nerve ideas, so feel free to post more if you know something useful about it.
