>>21372 Not far enough. I had to accept that binaurals or anything similar which makes me rely on technology long term won't help me attain proper spiritual mastery. This was around 2020 when the world started to go crazy. I began focusing on proper meditation practice and yoga instead. I'm not trying to diss hemi-sync here, but I had to accept it wasn't for me. I think, I almost left my body, but entered into a lucid dream instead. Really unsure how it went, it was really long ago when I was still a complete newb with these stuff. Looked into my own hemi-sync folder just now, to see if it makes me remember anything, but seems like I deleted the files when I required free space on my HDD... Sorry for making such a bummer post, but I listened to way too many experimental stuff last decade, and I am really unsure which did what for me back then To the other lurkers who read this post; I can recommend hemi-sync for those who cannot be bothered doing spiritual practice the traditional way, or for those who didn't have any meaningful results with any practice so far, because it has a quite decent success rate, so I can't say it's detrimental. It can help some people get started.

>>21632 Maybe you ought to give the tapes another spin, specially if you kept with spiritual practices since then. For me its more about taking the next step further, I've came from manifestation practices and this feels like a natural progression into developing my psychic abilities. Hemi-synd and binaurals can indeed feel like a crutch, for me its more about because its hard to find a decent balance between too sleepy and too alert for it to be effective. I think of it like training wheels, use it until it feels natural enough to ride without it.

Friendly bump, because hemisync and Monroe gets more hate than he deserves on the internet for some reason. Everyone was playing around with the tapes back then, this thread deserves a bump out of nostalgia.

Now I have no idea what that report implies and which ones are fine. Working with copilot seems to imply the important bit is that the headphones are sealed well to your ears. The coil being close to the ear might matter and maybe most headphones these days are suitable. The study seems to imply its not just sound causing the effect. today they use Audiotechnica M30x,which seems like a regular headphone to me.

>>22507 >>22518 I don't really think it matters, just get a decent quality headphone, all I can say about it, is so far it seems to be working, sometime I'll have stronger experiences than others. I think there is a whole lot more about your current state that may influence it, than just the auditory cues. A rule of thumb, just keep doing them, and repeat some tapes when you feel you have to, take your time and don't rush it either.
