>there was no need for a trial to begin with
Because, if you apply my logic, there was no real trial.
Rani, Paper Moon and her AEC method were the problem, because even if we aren't directly connected to it,
(((we))) are its creators, and by that I mean Sion and Atlas, and they are part of humanity one way or another. By extension, we own that Army of AE, or at least we could, so it was our small trial, to see whether we are abusive husbands or kind and gentle dudes from Japan who doesn't really give a fuck about such underhanded tricks.
It's a trial to see whether WE are part of humanity.
And that makes sense to me more than anything else. But at this point I am probably a super minority that thinks like that.

Kind of silly of me maybe, but does the wall have actually anything to do with the counter force? Maybe it's something else, like Chaldeas doing something similar or forcing that wall?
>Well I don't know what you mean
She wasn't summoned by us but by the world during GudaGuda. And she's confirmed part of the CF, which makes me doubt Alaya really gives a fuck about classes. Actually, while we are at it, aren't classes are made up thing by humanity itself? Just a container to put Heroic Spirit inside? I remember something like that from FSN.
>I wasn't really considering a gameplay mechanic
Maybe they didn't think about it that much, and it's just "complete this chapter to unlock this class score", but lorewise it kinda goes very well for AE. We will see what happens next in OC2.
That breakthrough in my opinion related to our humanity foundation growth and our understanding of Alter Egos and our answer to the whole question about them. And if that "complex breakthrough" has any actual meaning, then I believe it could be actually all in once. Rani and her army om Storm Border, us not understanding AE, vague opinion about them, maybe even Alaya being stupid, or at least questioning us.
>Extra classes aren't needed by Alaya but us.
Sure, but why would she oppose extra class in general?
AE quite literally dindu nothing. Yes, there are Beasts (2) in there, and some questionable individuals, but the one trait personality meta explains everything.
Pretender? Well, Oberon was summoned by Britain itself, and everyone else? They are harmless and don't do any collateral damage to the world.
Foreigners? Yeah well that one is sus. The only reason they aren't doing anything weird is because they decided not to for now. It may change anytime.
And then we have
Ruler? I kinda see the point that they should have been only like overseers, but what if they feel the need that they have to interfere and solve an issue?
Moon Cancer? To be fair, there are 2 people who tried to destroy Earth. But there is also Arc? And 2 MCs? And other people popped up? The class itself shouldn't even be from out timeline I think. So what, maybe they are problem because
>we are on a planet, not a moon, therefore moon cancer is cringe
Would go well with "Paper moon is a moon, so here I am, your dependable kouhai!"
And Avengers? Yeah I can totally see how people who postponed their avenger arc are the problem.
