My survey open-ended thing: The story has obviously suffered from a late-stage rewrite. The entire plot line with Dina and Camille felt stupid and unnecessary. Characters wasted essentially. Phaethon's "fate" Vivian saw wasn't properly utilized to its storytelling potential. And her "solution" felt arbitrary and out of place. Also, it was very weird how she didn't try to do anything about it before that point in the story. Getting any sort of transient powers from an incomplete Corruption doesn't seem to align with what the game has shown to us so far, so that was weird as well. The story has spent too much time on exposition and too little time on the actual events happening. Telling us we should care about the characters doesn't works as well as giving us actual immediate reasons to care for them. This much exposition has also made the story feel very poorly paced - a very slow and lengthy beginning but a very abrupt and unsatisfying ending. But the actual culmination was very emotional and I liked it. Also, Hugo's bit felt a bit tacked on and inconsequential, but I liked the execution of it.
