I looked at the enemy list in their wiki. With what can be seen, the ego outfit seems to be taking more from the monsters Specifically, there was a sea monster called a herald there wasn't anything relevant beside it's appearance with the wing-like things and pseudo-ribbons with the skadi reference being the exposed inner thigh/ thigh window thing. I think that they are making the ego outfits with the intention to be less disruptive in gameplay, but dropping it for the ego artwork by including Skadi herself and the orcas.

I'm extremely satisfied with Ishmael's E.G.O., especially her corrosion. Gregor, as always, gets the best of everything, good for him and his fans, hopefully it will be as good as it looks. Faust and Hong Lu are ok.

Is she wearing an turtle neck as an undershirt, a button up over that, and also a ribbed sweater with a deep v neck that is also part skirt? Along with a jacket? I wasn't expecting kal'sit to appear in the ego. It makes me think that a "Faust" is going to show up in the crossover because there's a Faust in the Arknights universe.

I liked the event a lot and I would put it at the top for intervallos. Mainly because it's stand alone story to the point where's it's more comparable to a very short canto than an intervallo. besides the part where it needs to reset to the status quo as if nothing happened because it's a crossover. The "It was just a dream" can make a story feel empty no matter what. I feel like that it could've been voiced, but It might have to something do with the reason why Amiya's announcer speaks Japanese. The art was nice and there were a lot of cool backgrounds. The story could be understood without knowing anything about Arknights. Neither side suffered any loss in character from what I can tell.I'm guessing that Mayors and the village people are limbus original. I would've rather had Faust be more "I" than "Faust" for this though It could've had better gameplay.Intro section is fine, but they took to long to add disruption into the fights where it's only done by the final boss. Set off the reaper at your own pace and kill the founder whenever you're ready. Every fight was the same puzzle. The knight was fun, but I barely won because I only had 3 defense skills that didn't hit him and the follow up attacks proc'd whenever someone entered the stage because of Hong. The final boss targeted the reapers and could start the Nethersea Brand on her own while being the only fight where Nervous Impairment took effect. I'd wish that there was a bonus section of the two days before Dante was found. It feels like it was a mistake to design Durante around a daily cooldown and not per encounter because it's running into the scarcity problem to where I just forget about it. The need for a place to see observation logs and play the ost will always be felt. I feel like I understand the knight enough but some background information on him or logs written by the other characters on the other enemies would be cool. It'd be nice to have IDs based on grunts to get some more information ingame via uptie stories. >If you cleared it in Hard mode you can switch it to easy to claim the ex rewards.
Just by looking at them, I think gregor's WAW is insane if only because it's fucking free to cast, giving him WAW resistances.

I writ off Ishmael's ego as just +1 clash power, but this is a ridiculous clause. Faust's ego is as it is though. It gives you defensive effects, but the last she wants is to get hit. She hemorrhages stacks whenever she gets hit or uses another ego and she wants stay at the highest value since all the benefits scale to the base value with no baseline. The corrosion is well enough designed because it's defensively based, but it it fails if she can't reach the [after attack] clause whether it's due to a slow speed or she is unable to win the clash. The unbreakable coin doesn't help because it goes [clash lose > get hit > response attack] or you get staggered or stagger/kill an enemy yourself because it nullifies the defensive aspect of the corrosion. The reapers will always stay dormant until hit giving you an extra slot the whole time lessening the effect of the brand further. There should've been 9 enemies in a fight all using skills. We should have been force to use defensive skills more a rotate damage around the team while redirecting instakillsinstakill of the founder only and pokes from the founders and reaper respectively. >>1018845 I forgot to mention but the sea terrors are weak to sloth, gluttony, gloom, and pride as a hint to the boss since those are her weaknessess as well.

It took me 30 pulls to get Gregor, and then another 280 fucking pulls to get both Faust and Hong Lu at the same time, for a total of 310. The only thing wrong with the collab was that there wasn't even more art of Hongers getting turned into the dragon girl. I don't know anything about arknights but it was fun and the schizo knight guy was cool, mayors was cute too but she's an oc apparently.
The director really made our sinners feel like jobbers for that arkbab wank but then at the end they needed every operator plus the last knight to fight off that big seaborn that is the equivalent of a whale which 1 color could solo it.

So what are your overall thoughts on the collab? I liked it on its own, the story was entertaining enough (I don't know anything about AK), mayors was cute and the fights were good even if the final boss had too much hp, could do with 700 less. But my enjoyment of it is soured by the fact that we sacrificed an intervallo and a new railway for it, it's good but I don't think was worth it.

Not helped by the fact I had Nfaust in the back for sanity, meaning fluidsac was locked to a shit ID on top of low gloom generation. From a player's perspective, I really enjoyed it. Recognizing the Arknight's stuff and references only a player would know makes me happy. Overall I think the story was good simply because of the cultural clash and how it shows that even though both settings are awful, they're awful in different ways. I kind of hope for a future continuation since the antagonists of both settings lie on the exact opposite spectrum of ideals and would love to see them debate.

It made sense in LoR since the characters were basically on the brink of death from being overworked all the time. It also fit with the original Shi IDs, since in Ishmael’s story we can see they’re being pushed way past their limits. But the Shi Association is supposed to be focused on stealth and assassination, and so far we haven’t really seen that, aside from that one moment where one of them cuts Shrenne in half.

Send your fastest (the leftmost unit) to attack the roomba in the turn your clashes suck and she will lose the boost in that very same turn. The Strugglings and Hopelesses are situational. Sure, some of her values will still be high but won't be a curbstomp. I advise using either Sinking or Heishous. Sinking will affect her sanity and therefore force her to roll lower, while Heishous (Faust) mean you will be able to cover for the slot of the sinner attacking the roomba by her Assist Defense.

Finally finished up the AK event. Pretty story was pretty cool even as someone who didn't really touch Arknights much after launch since I just don't care for tower defense. Seeing the culture shock between the two groups was interesting. All the EGO are really cool, though their rates really should've been buffed so I didn't need to hit FOUR HUNDRED rolls to exchange for both Faust and Hong Lu's. Fuck that Mayors fight though holy shit. I thought Director already apologized over red coin spam, so why does EVERY attack in phase 2 have a red coin that still applies status on crack and can stagger? Functionally she actually does feel like a freebie version of fullstop heathcliff. Aim/Concentration both stack up to 4, give poise/damage mods for each stack for shoorting the bow/going for the bullseye. The difference is that heathcliff gains stacks passively, can keep attacking and still gain stacks, and isn't prevented from doing assist attacks. In turn, she never runs out of ammo, but to be honest you'll struggle to spend all her arrows in a fight. Out of MD, if you want to use her full power Arrow, she's going to need to block for 4 turns, but at least she'll get an auto crit and s3 mods to the final attack. You're basically forced to have someone else feed her SP though. Sounds like they really want you to use her with Ahabmael. Over all, feels like she NEEDS lucky Pouch and CMCW to make up for the opportunity lost from not attacking. They also want her to throw herself into melee after shooting too... I do like that she'll always fire first and it's unclashable, gives me that warm Ruina ranged deck feeling. I just wish that multislotting defense skills let her do her thing faster, as it is, you might as well slot her in 7th.

I think even the lowest charge glimmer bow should be good if she has her poise conditionals. Not worth fishing for but a "happy accident" if you used a defense skill against a "hopeless" clash.

Got bored, made a concept for a Liu North ID. Since different sections have variant gameplay/different status effects and the new theme is multi status IDs; I made them Tremor+Sinking and added yet another Tremor Color. My thoughts? Honestly, they'll probably never give Sinking Deluge to the player again, so the S3 will most likely be more like "Trigger Tremor burst twice; reduce tremor count by 2, Trigger sinking twice) or something to that effect. I wouldn't have the Sinking lose additional count from this skill since they'd already lose count from each hit + if they have Tremor - Freezing active, they'll lose more Count for every Tremor Burst. In general, they follow the general Liu concept of gaining sanity fast (from the passive) but also by lowering their stagger threshold as well (kind of a nod to their sinking/tremor dual status concept) Intentionally, they're not truly self sufficient, needing both Tremor and Sinking IDs to maintain the status effects, but a Tremor-Sinking Team should have almost no trouble clashing in MD or even story missions. The concept of them is using a gauntlet version of the ice-creating dagger that Ezra owned in Distortion Detective. In Limbus, cold/water theme tend to follow gloom and tends towards sinking, slow/cold also evokes sloth so I made these the main sins of Liu North. I maintained the Wrath Sin common to Liu IDs though. Functionally this should supply Tremor with some needed gloom or give sinking more sloth and wrath to play with. Thoughts? Critiques? Better Idea?

Faust has 1 inherent passive just to explain the mechanics of her bow, it's pointless because the Bow is shit so you can ignore TARGET AIM, ARROWS, READY TO LOOSE, and LDGED ARROW. Functionally, she's a very basic Poise/Bleed ID with no passive, no unique effects, and no skill alts. Unless you want to play her the wrong way and actually try to use her Bow. She functionally has less going for her than this Gregor ID.

Yea, even I'm not that committed to it, probably just drop it and add a 3rd tremor burst for that skill. I probably should swap the Amplitude conversion to the S3, they don't seem to like putting those on the s2 for balance reasons. I should also probably add some Bind to the Skill 2/3, it would be pretty flavorful for an Ice themed Association and would help the team clash the IDs they want to clash. Overall a Tremor/Sinking Team would be the "I want to win clashes" team.

Should I put Casseti as a Rupture/Bleed unit (to be more like Rodion/Gregor and lean into the hybrid meta) or should I preserve Casseti's pure bleed focus and make the ID pure bleed? Anyway, here's how I imagine a Casseti Meursault ID to be and what niche he can carve out. Basically he sacrifices his own Blood stacks to give the bloodfiend with the lowest stacks more. Until he loses his mind and goes completely berserk with his S3. All his effects and skills are either based on his skills, his special buffs, or his passives. The only purely made up stuff is making him a rupture hybrid and giving him Bloodfeast mechanics. I did rename his "stored blood" to "hardblood Glaive" since that is his hardblood art. He does get nerfed if his hardblood stacks get too low, but for worse clashing he gets extra damage, more bleed/count inflict, and his s3 becomes an AOE and gains unbreakable coins. Otherwise his S3 is just a single target nuke. I feel like I should tone it down some.

Liu North's Glaive/Gundao equivalent could be some kind of specialized polearm that again condenses ice around it to form different weapons, possibly a giant glacial war hammer.

I also should clarify that it targets the bloodfiend with the lowest stack. But yea, starting with 15 Hardblood Glaive, he'd have (1+1.5= 2) attack weight if its programed to round down, 3 if it rounds up. The general idea is if he drops below a certain threshold of hardblood (likely since his skills force him to donate his stacks and he's last to benefit from bloodfeast) then his S3 will sort of mimic his unclashable attack. He'll have an offense level debuff, but gain a bunch of attack weight, inflict more bleed and count and heal just dump a bunch of bleed and count on a lot of enemies. And yea, once the bloodfeast economy is solved, he does lose his damage mods (stops losing sanity too) but gets good rupture count in turn and becomes a strong single target damage dealer. Overall he's a bit of a bloodfeast battery like Gregor (15 per skill, decent bleed inflict), kind of a damage dealer like Outis/Don, and kind of an off tank like Rodion. His major role is just to let Outis/Gregor maintain their blood stacks better (Rodion will naturally benefit from another Bloodfiend bleeding/eating bloodfeast since she caps at 5 times per turn which currently is only possible with multislotting bloodfiends, or fighting a bleed inflicting enemy). Since he has an evade I feel like I should minimally reduce his max HP to Rodion's. So if you have any more critiques, I'd appreciate it. I don't want him to oversahdow any of the higher kindred, he's only supposed to enable them more. I might nerf his s3 so his coin power conditional only works when his had 20+ Hardblood glaive instead of checking for bleed. So he either is a low rolling unbreakable mass attack or a high rolling single target nuke.

Okay, made some changes that should put him more in line with his intended role. >Lowered his HP to 220 >When below 10 Bloodfeast, also gains aggro when passive is active. >S3 roll capped at 21 with 20+ Hardblood Glaive, S3 capped at 17 with 10 or less Hardblood glaive but gains attack weight and unbreakable coins (rolls 13 if all coins are cracked) >Made base attack mod conditionals easier to meet (potency instead of count) >Added a +30% damage mod conditional based on bloodfeast consumed >Modified S3 so that it can gain up to 12 Hardblood Glaive after attack, fitting its roll as a "reset" for Cassetisault like in the boss fight. >>If failed to consume bloodfeast, haste was swapped for bind (as the lowest kindred, he'll always fail to consume bloodfeast if he goes before another Kindred) and gave him more offense level (negates his normal debuff) to account for this. I lowered his s3 because the value was too high compared to Outis/Rodion. It should now properly fill its role as a single target nuke or multi target bleed count application. The aggro should help him get targeted even if he triggers the self bind conditional. In general he's only meant to enable the 4 higher kindred harder but be able to become a secondary DPS once the famine is over. This I believe best fits PM's balancing logic, Director's powerscaling autism, and the player's desire for good IDs. If there are any changes that you think I should include or revert, please speak your mind. Incidentally, should I swap his evade for a clashable counter (deals rupture count instead) when above 20 Hardblood Glaive? Or would you rather he always have an evade like he does now?

If my calculations are right I should be able to have almost all ids at level 55 by the time the next season starts. I'll worry about getting them to 60 later. The path to becoming a profesional limbus player requires quite a lot of refills though.
