SAO was really good if you followed the light novel translations before moving into the anime. The anime as a standalone left out a lot of Kirito's internal monologue and made him come across like an annoying Gary Stu. In reality he was a little bitch pretending to be a badass, and he knew and admitted it. Its throughout the whole story that he really grows up and becomes an actual badass in his own right. Invest in good pans. Enamel pans reduce irony flavors for purer cooking, though they are expensive. In most american cooking, recipes with onion and garlic are going to be your go-to since bags of onions are about as cheap as potatoes. Soups and stews are easy and filling, and just require basic ingredients and cooking meat ahead of time. There is literally no excuse for processed food, because every meal can be eaten in successive days and soups/stews can be frozen in plastic containers in your freezer for later eating if you need variety. If you're eating for one, you will literally never have a food bill that hurts you. Cooking is a godly skill and if you aren't doing it you better start learning you fuckers.
