no version of indiachan were enthusiastic about automotive. Whys that? because average anon is home dwelling autist? Anyway really feel sad about the situation of automotive in india. We have absolutely nothing. Sure we have few things like new scorpioN but its not m340i which by the way attracts 40+20% tax because boomer thinks protectionism is the way to grow home market. The 2w home market thrived despite having so tiny amount of protectionism. So, boomer retards should think about how less protectionism would effect the 4w market than just being NPCs. I just want to drive a miata man. Mahindra has an engine that feels alive and responsive. The 2.0L petrol mStallion. They just need to develop a chassis. Put some seats in it and sell it for <20 lkhs. Having driven the new scorpioN, i say mahindra is capable of developing good chassis. It would be indias first true enthusiast car Thank you for reading my blog. You patience was appreciated.
>>9755 For people in towns and villages with shitty roads, it is necessary to have vehicles that can drive through sand/mud traps, deep potholes etc. In the North and North eastern side, where climbing hills, this is also very useful.
>>9775 Yep, somewhere in himalaya they are still using the defenders. There's a video about it. In Himachal, shizuki alto is used and other remote areas and nepal, it's bolero 4x4. Baki UP bihar, its scarpio. In Punjab it's fortuner and thar
>>9776 4x4's make these places accessible. >>9752 Old school gypsies have negligible suspension. You feel the big bumps and your body jumps around. Because of lower weight, the performance to weight ratio is excellent. Also, cars that don't have too many systems, are easier to maintain and repair.
>>9727 https://www.bianchi.com/bianchi-impulso-rc/#impulso-pro Got to try this today. Won't be buying this anytime soon but it was so easy to reach 60 kmph on this on a normal road. The riding a spear feel was still there. What I like with bicycles, is that there is no petrol or insurance or anything. I go as far as my body can without needing to eat.
I would replace the evoque with discovery sport. They are identical drive but discovery sport feels more real and less fragile. Prolly cheaper too
>>9782 The German version has dismal range. Weird. German version is electric only. I still don't like electrics in their current form. Indian version is a diesel engine.
not a big fan of germans tbh. Its like that joke, 'how to tell if wine is german? By reading its label.
its when the imperfections are too much, id turn to germans
I remembered tvs hayabusa shitpost. I can't find it. Anon replaced his hayabusa to tvs
>>9808 Hayabusa"?'s are nice but rich fags ruined it for me
>>9796 >>9795 German cars are reflective of German system. - Everything must be complicated and over engineered. Google "eierlegende Wollmilchsau". It basically ends up happening to every project, till it fails. - Roads, cars, tyres, everything is engineered to need servicing twice a year. You lose insurance if you don't. Your parts are engineered to operate well only in a narrow range of environmental conditions. this is in contrast to Indian systems, which are designed such that - Designed to work in every environment - Engineered to base minimum spec and to do that one thing well. Nothing else - Maintenance is optional. German culture has robbed me of joy in the last few years. My car was good, but I stopped using it. It needed too much maintain-ace and I couldn't treat it roughly. Add to that drunk driver aggots. I am in a better place now with just an old steel bicycle.
>>9855 Its not the compexity that turns me off. The chase for precision make the car feel technical than soul touching. I mean if i were to ask what would i drive - E30 m3 or rover SD1. I would pick the SD1 even though the door may fall off, the paint keeps losing and theres rust everywhere.
>>9858 Pointless complexity leads to death of soul. I am seeing this in my own life as well. Europeans are trained to be good tax payers and nothing else. They depend on state for everything. And government wants you to dance like a monkey for everything. I was tired of this in India too. From what you guy and family tells me, it is only slightly better. Well, here it is getting worst. Due to lack of money with the ministries. In cars, I share your tastes. I prefer simple and responsive. Not a car that needs an engineer to tweak it everytime the season changes slightly. The AMG series is nice though.
https://www.madrasmechanic.com/blog found this blog the other day. Not too many articles but at least it's written by 1) not AI and 2) someone who actually works on cars (as opposed to someone who can barely ride an Activa but continuously engages in brand flame wars)
>>9863 Excellent. Thanks for sharing this anon.
kek. Drove new Dezire. The 3 pot feels so under powered in swift that i was curious about Desize. Shitzuki has tuned the engine for all the torque to be at 60-70 km. Drive at any other speed and you fell theres no engine
>>9884 To be fair most city fags feel alive in that range. I have a soft spot for swift but i used to joke that its a car with a bikes engine.
gen 2 &4 swift are nice really. The 4 being underpowered is the only thing thats killing the boner. Would really appriciate if nshitzuki start making swift sport in india, even as a small number. I mean they have 50% market share. The least they could do it take tiny losses. Talking of 50%, they didnt launched mint color for swift avaliable in foreign market. The celario is what i prefer over swift currently. Light, tiny, raw. Its like the whole car is just the engine. But if i were to buy anything under <10 lkhs, I would really buy Amaze. Plenty space, same raw feel, 4cyl engine and a honda
>>9896 I had a gen 2. There is a sport edition ! This is helpful, i most probably will need a new one in few months for my brother. > Atrovos shaman 8x8
>>9900 You know what would be comfy maxx. Ladder on frame 4x4 van with swivel seats

A few days old, if you haven't seen it already. Tata kills its owner. Looks like he used a feature called the "summon mode" which lets you get the car to crawl up to you if you're standing a few feet away, or are too fat to get into the gap between your car and the next. He opens the door which disengages the summon mode, and the car starts to roll away on the slope. He tries to brake but fails to do so, and falls on the ground, fatally injuring his head, as the car rolls over his leg. Looks like the major fault here is that the car wasn't programmed to engage the electronic parking brake once summon mode was disengaged. Even for retards writing shitcode, i refuse to believe they would overlook this. They probably programmed it right, the car just didn't engage the parking brake for whatever reason, one of the reasons could be that the code was indeed bad - the car might have been programmed correctly, but lack of robust code elsewhere prevented the correct code from executing. After all, it is only recently that we increasingly hear about how people's cars lose all power on the highway for no apparent reason, telling the driver it "needs service". Cars with simple ECUs barely ever suffered faults like this. Closest I've ever seen is a car dying and refusing to start after the ECU saw low pressure in the fuel rail. One ignition cycle and it started again.
>>9916 Reddit comment from the person who posted the video. >The person either tried to use the summon mode or the mode switched on by mistake, either way, the mode should not have worked with the door open. When the car started to move, he tried to apply the brakes, causing him to hit the ground. This caused head injury and the doctors declared brain dead. >The family is still in shock, so they haven't yet proceeded with any legal action against TATA. TATA officials have taken the vehicle. But this incident hasn't yet reached national news and automobile news. >The deceased has already faced a software issue with this new car - Once it stopped on the road and didn't switch on. He had to call the showroom and technicians had to come and help switch on the vehicle. >Please make sure this video reached a lot of people and a probe is ordered or some action is taken to get justice for the family.
>>9916 >>9917 Tata's IT team is fucking shit. They put these cars out with such little testing. But even then this is a massive fail. This is horrible.
kek >buy a new car >it kills you Hope the consumer goes back into cars with minimal electrics. I watched a video on youtube where it said when the rocket sent to moon, had 10 times less code than each $50k car produced today and consumer are finally getting fed of it. Woman suffrage was a mistake. Letting them make decisions.
>>9921 What cars would those be in today's market ?
cheap shitboxes
Lol. Lmao even. Iq test should be mandatory for driving. I have seen T cars driving in ghats. Good cheap shitbox currently is honda amaze. It's only a lakh dearer than shitzuki swift but for that lakh you get adult size space inside, a boot, better material, 4 cyl engine that doesn't feel meak and the proper hydrolic feel, and longevity
>>9952 Amaze looks good ! I will consider this. Thanks. Too many digital features for me though. But I won't need to drive it much
>>9952 The compact sedan design looks good. Why don't you ever quote the people you are replying to ?
Kek That's my old habit
Fuck Bhosdapilled assholes. There are lot of amazing stretches of peaceful roads in India. The issue are the towns in between.
the issue are the 85 iq people. Behind the wheel and on the roads as well
>>9971 What is a possible solution ? Strict implementation not possible, because corruption is 1st instinct.
