When you're given a choice of classes to take in a LitRPG setting(for example, How Not to Summon a Demon Lord, Jobless in Another World, ect.), assuming you aren't covering building in such a way as to counter a weakness in your chain, what do you take? What is your preference without other biases? If you don't invest heavily into the option when you make a build, what do you work toward within the jump?

>>161977 I like options based around creating/controlling minions like being a summoner, necromancer, mind controller, golemancer, that kind of stuff. By having a variety of minions you have a lot of versatility to deal with all kinds of situations, while minimizing danger to yourself. Though magic systems often dont really work well with those kinds of options(a lot have some really big limitations on how long you can control minions like that), in those cases I prefer for a stealth focused class like an Assassin, which can also avoid danger and still inflict immense damage against enemies by finding the right time to strike. A different option I like but often isn't represented well enough is having support magic to help properly buff and aid a party(or better yet some familas), this like the minion controller options but you can further aid it and a party can be just as versatile. A lot of systems just represents mechanics like that horribly.
