>Yep, could have easily gone far worse than “I want to be a hero of justice.”
And in Mind of Steel we get to see one.
>One wonders about the timeline where he discovered mapo tofu before his wife killed herself.
Well, she'd have found something that brings him joy, so she wouldn't think she needs to kill herself to maybe get some spark of emotion not induced by sadism.
>Thanks, best of luck for you as well.
Thank you very much.
>It gave us tanned BB, so it’s fine, a bonus even.
This is true, truly Pele is great.
>Although I still prefer the original flavor.
Fair, I think they both have their charm.
>The condition for Nyarlathotep was making people extremely paranoid.
Plans within plans within plans.
>Right, if I want to tell people about the big horned thing I hunted I just have to drawn it in the cave, young people with their weird ideas, I heard they are calling it the “alphabetum“.
Heh, this gave me the image of neolithic people meeting late Bronze Age Phoenicians.
>Frankly at this point planet-buster is underselling it.
I prefer not to think about the silliness of DB power scaling. After a certain point it stops holding meaning.
>Yeah, the raw power that anyone can get just by training is kind of ridiculous, I wonder if it could be used to solve the whole running thing.
Might be able to, hard to say since the Planet's limited resources aren't quantitfied and we don't know why the Third True Magic gives you essentially endless amount of power in defiance of thermodynamics, but the natural equivalent (True Ancestor, Xians, Lugh Beowulf, etc) and the space equivalent (BB, other NPCs/AIs, etc etc) don't get the same.
>Let’s not forget Notes.
That's what I was referring to. The Planet wasn't upset that humans killed it, it was upset that the Humans were still living on its corpse rather than going into space. Because Nasu really wants humans to go to space. Really really wants it.
>Back in the day Young Justice was one of my go to jumps thanks to drain no, removed from context and Incomprehensible, those days we have far more options.
Options have definitely expanded, though honestly its a pretty easy setting to deal with and get used to things with.
>Weird how nonchalant one is to go to Fate/Go compared to 40K, when put in perspective.
As long as you don't go to SE.RA.PH. it's not really an issue with you, and you can probably handwave you're in the second timeline if you must.
>The solution is simple, one cooks the other meals.
That is a pretty damn good compromise, yeah.
>Yeah, just eliminating diseases as a whole for example, while unquestionably good would really screw over the medical sector, however with the kind of resources a jumper would have post-chain dealing with the fallout without screwing over the medics themselves would be relatively easy.
Diseases are one of those things that are unquestionably worth getting rid of, if you can actually get rid of them entirely. Retraining is a pain, but if you can knock out aging too and have a way to enhance memory it's pretty easy to make that much less painful as well.
>The real question is make both perfect twins, or one normal and one with the tanned summer look?
Hm...I'd say they should both be able to switch at will. Best of both worlds since the reprogramed me wouldn't mind suiting your desires at any given time, and (mostly)unaltered me would appreciate the autonomy there while also being happy to switch between looks if asked.
>Although some companies do deserve it, some of that stuff really should not be half as expensive.
It would be one thing if they were putting the money into research to make new and better medicines, but a ton of it just goes into advertising without a clear RoR TMK.
>Kind of annoying when in a themed chain a few drawbacks would fit perfectly, but the jump does not have enough options to spend it that don’t conflict with the theme.
Heh, yeah. Can always spend it on silly items or on upgrading companions though, but that eventually runs into the same issue.
>But simulations are cool Kouhai.
Simulations can't replace real experiences (and if they can, then you've probably created a whole world of self-aware people who'll die or be frozen if you ever pause said simulation, which is bad), and there's always gonna be some stuff that throws 'em off kilter. They're good in moderation, but you gotta be within the limits of reason.

>Yeah, I avoid being mean to NPC’s because of it.
Largely the same, with some notable exceptions...but then I typically feel guilty and undo whatever I did with console commands if available.
>Another advantage of the DC megajump being the Supervillain background ruthless to let me go with the reprograming plan.
Backgrounds in general are pretty neat. How do you interpret that anyway? Are they alternate versions of you, or simulations of what you would've been that are retroactively inserted into the timeline for you to pilot? Or something else?
>(spoiler 1)
That's sincerely pretty cool of him.
>(spoiler 2)
Such is the burden of being the vessel for his author's fetish. Dealing with the guilt of actually putting into action.
Though, frankly that is a good reaction for a person to have in that situation. Otherwise one might become a bit too eager to use such easily abusable abilities since, let's be honest, Legendary Hacking/Programming skill from DC Comics is gonna let you mind-control biological people just as easily with only a slight adjustment of equipment.

That's honestly kinda terrifying anon. Then again, infinite BBs.....
