Posted this in the jumpmaking thread already, but I figured I'd ask it here as well: currently working on the jump for Sonic OVA, and since I'm including a Robot race origin anyways, should I include an option there to be a robot like Metal Sonic? I've been batting the idea around, whether I should save something like that for one of the Villain capstones or not. I also considered maybe something like a race perk line, except since the OVA is so short, relatively speaking, just being two pilot episodes slapped together, there's not enough for that.
So, right now, I'm debating between two options:
>Mobians get a Free option to be like Old Man Owl, who is just a normal guy, all things considered; a 100cp option to be more like Knuckles or Tails, being able to move faster than the eye can track, having some impressive ability like flight or digging, and being able to smash through bots; and 200cp for being like Sonic, with the impossible speed to travel across the world on foot within a short time. Meanwhile, Robots get a Free option to be a basic badnik, fodder for Sonic and friends, or a robot on par with Hyper Metal Sonic for 300cp, AKA fast and strong enough to stomp Sonic in a straight fight.
>Alternatively, instead of getting a capstone perk that tells you how to wreak maximum havoc for your maximum gain, like how Robotnik figured out a way to completely destroy the Land of the Sky, allowing him to rule what was left of Planet Freedom, Villains instead get a capstone making them a robot, or cyborg if taken by Humans/Mobians,, with technology on par with what made Hyper Metal Sonic. This might lead to Robots coming with a base price of 100cp, since although Sonic and friends make fodder of them, and even the humans don't seem all that threatened by the badniks when they're not being held at gunpoint, they're still robots with in-built weaponry and no need for food or water or air.
