Industrial music thread Anonymous 05/16/2020 (Sat) 12:50:18 No. 3
Please post industrial/electronic music here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_lK8utAVYc

Resurrecting this dead ass thread and board with a classic. Anyone got any industrial suggestions like this? I really like early Ministry, Skinny Puppy and Chemlab. Maybe something more obscure in that vein? I just need more of that sound.
This thread got no Industrial music, and the faintest of Industrial it has is the most corniest cringe inducing shit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XpqCxJZdGs

This probably doesn't count but stuck in my head for a long time https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSsR-uBPJTY >>9 I agree but also that is garbage dude.
>>55 Surprised this isn't on there https://invidious.privacydev.net/watch?v=CweBj4pvcfg >>8 If you like early Ministry you'll probably like it too.
>NOT REALLLL INDUSTRIAL yea who cares faggot. Anyway years old post, but >>8 good song Reviving this dead thread with random stuff. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=itk3Xr0hczA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_k0VHRs2Wew https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_k0VHRs2Wew
Sup niggas, any book which includes early industrial music? I wanna listen the stuff on "release order" to experience the evolution (and to stop being a normalfag who has only listened to Skinny Puppy, Depeche, NIN and Foetus)

>>300 I admittedly dunno what books on industrial are there, but considering it's such a niche genre (especially the early stuff) that still gets some people arguing over what counts, it might be hard to find a good one. There's one by Alexander Reed that I know some people like, but that's way more of an analysis book than an album catalog. You want early industrial? Then the logical start is Throbbing Gristle, they coined the genre name and all. You'll hardly find an earlier release that fits than Second Annual Report (although if you wanna really nerd it, then you can probably find traces of industrial already in shit like Velvet Underground, Suicide and generally sound collage/noise artists). They got live shows before that album if you wanna go even older. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nz-ys0Uwpos Besides that, Cabaret Voltaire, SPK and Nurse With Wound are as early as you get. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WN_iXS2GtHQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nb1urLRLpYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZWmYEUoweg Neubauten also kick off few years after these, although their take on industrial is quite different (still important though). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cz8lqWdpJPw Also, listen to the first Foetus album. This is still only the real early stuff, if I had time, energy, and guarantee that you care, I could go off about what's after these, but for now this is probably enough.
