Songs about feeling lonely, wanting to be loved, and having no luck at love.

Please recommend me songs on this topic, I will add the link to a playlist with the songs I have so far about it. But some clarifications before that, please don't mention songs that are about wanting "Your" love, or songs about a "her/him", nor songs about a relationship(s) that ended/is ending. As you might guess, I've never been with someone, and I don't even have a 'crush' at the moment. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5M2xiZ1Pi3JV6sgg7TwNaA?si=a3186a876dd94aac Songs about wondering why you want to be in a relationship so hard are also welcome, oh, and it doesn't matter what gender the singer is.

Death Metal with positive life lessons

I used to be a fan of death metal with just pure blood and guts like Cattle Decapitation (whom I regret being a fan of) but lately I find myself liking oldschool death metal like Death. They started off as edgy teenagers writing about death and violence but their later works have a deep meaning, like Crystal Mountain. They matured the exact same way I did.

Albums where you rate all the songs 5 stars

Remember that old feature on iPods where you can rate a song 1-5 stars? Does anyone else have two albums they would rate all the songs a perfect 5? For me, they are "Reaching Into Infinity" by Dragonforce and "American V: A Hundred Highways" by Johnny Cash.

changing guitar strings

I bought Martin & Co medium size .013-.056 for my acoustic and I replaced my B string, Did I make a good choice in strings? There are so many brands. Should I cut all the strings or should I replace it one at a time? Also is it normal that the replaced string keeps losing it's tune?

Music video clip request

Hi, looking for a music video clip late 90s early 00s, style is french house/r&b (stardust, modjo) singer is a black man, setting is a little star observatory at sunset or early dawn, some strange light comes down from the sky at the beginning, then return to sky at the end. Producer might be English or Belgian or so. There might be some words like "star" "light", "lover" in the title or crew name. I think they only released this single and quickly vanished despite the song being pretty good. Any clue?

R: 0 / I: 0 / P: 4

How do you actually create a full length project? How do you get to the place where you say “okay it’s time to make a project” and then know what songs to put together for it? How do you know what to call it and the cover and what ties the project together, if anything? Very curious about this process.

trying to find a song, bit of a request thread

at some point, someone on youtube made a video called "ebola chan tribute" that featured a song i enjoyed and said song was even uploaded on youtube but then the song's official video was gone, so the video about ebola chan was the only thing with the song left years ago, that video disappeared too and i can't find the song anywhere these are some details i still remember >the song's name was probably "happy morning" >there was some piano at the beginning >name of the artist was something close to "tamara" or "tahara", i can't quite remember the name well >it was some upbeat/positive song too i guess and there was a cute girl singing is anyone here at least aware of something close enough? i still have it in my head and it's been years it's driving me insane i swear it was a real song

80s/90s Japanese Music Thread

Japs generally make good music, especially in the 80s and 90s. Some of my favorites are ambient music, like Motohiko Hamase's Intaglio (https://yewtu.be/watch?v=iwmR72iFGm4), and Reminiscence (https://yewtu.be/watch?v=ZWDGK6PIgqw). Wet Land by Hiroshi Yoshimura is a good one as well: https://yewtu.be/watch?v=Z3m7HXeiHpg But my all-time favorite has to be Takashi Kokubo's Barcelona ~ Gaudi’s Dream ~: https://yewtu.be/watch?v=acJ6qw0k6FA Of course, they didn't just release ambient shit, as good as it is. There's also shit like Tatsuro Yamashita's work, who's apparently the pioneer for city pop, some of which you're probably heard, like Plastic Love: https://yewtu.be/watch?v=9Gj47G2e1Jc Here are two of my favorites of Yamashita's (also just about all I've heard of him, I haven't delved into this genre for months), Marmalade Goodbye (from the album (https://yewtu.be/watch?v=WuLnJmR33Ic), and Only with You (from the album Ray of Hope extra/Joy1.5), the 1986 live version (linked as a direct file since my regular invidious instances would work) As you could imagine, weebshit also had some great music during this time. A relatively new favorite of mine, Roujin Z, is one of them (linked as a direct file for the same reasons) Vidya was no slouch either, with one of my favorites being the first Persona game's tracks: https://yewtu.be/watch?v=8RqBbrlziOo https://yewtu.be/watch?v=vlgcAQr4mDw So
