>be a PC, not a mac >have a productive ace up your sleeve, the right click button that instantly gives you double the buttons >brings up context sensitive options and menus in one click across all applications >now disappearing in many apps and websites It's frustrating. Our company just spent millions "upgrading" to a new ERP, and it's all web browser based and there is no right click use whatsoever, even though the whole company uses PCs only. Want to open a link in a new tab? Too bad. You can't do that anymore. You need to open a new session and browse your way to where you need to go. Oh everything takes forever to load trying to do that? Too bad! You still have your deadline. Oh you have to press "show more" a billion times to get to a link, even though your standard 1080p screen has plenty of empty space to show everything, and your computers are all top of the line and have the memory to show everything. Too bad! Click a dozen times when before you just clicked right click, open new tab. It's maddening. No longer can you copy or paste with your mouse, get to options, or drill down to get around in the ERP like before. Everything is a huge step back and productivity suffers, and for what? I've noticed this trend for over a decade with computers, but I feel like it's hitting a breaking point where there will be no job or modern program that will be "normal" anymore.
>>21862 (OP) It's because of interface convergence, everything needs to be operated by touch. Current touchscreen codified gestures don't have a procedure for opening a floating hidden menu and never will because touchscreen are designed with literal retards in mind as end users.
>>21862 (OP) If it has mousewheel click you can use that to open new tabs.
