>Have you considered reaching out beyond just chan-adjacent sites?
No, i like the anonimity of sites like this one. The lack of identification allows for everyone's opinions to be listen, without a bias. All posts are equally as valid, even the shitpost ones.
Meanwhile in the normie internet the only opinions heard are the ones with a higher number (likes, subs, etc...) while the dissidents get censored and prosecuted for their alternative opinions.
>it seems like the most devoted and motivated artists are on sites specifically focused on their medium
Yeah, that is a fairly common phenomenon, people tend to gravitate towards their hobbies and a lot of artists lock themselves into ecochamers, ending up becoming lookalikes, just carbon copies of one another, self censoring themselves to fit the standards and losing their soul and identity in the process. I dont consider myself a "artist", but I always had the fear of becoming one of those self-absorbed faggots. So I prefer to remain far away from such communities.
>Are there any games or subjects you're really into
Not now, I haven't played any vidya in like 8 months, I used to be in a lot of communities years ago though, but they would always end up filled with toxicity and drama.
>When all else fails, there's always >>>/loomis/
I might sound like a contratian but I dont use that board. The only things they draw are floating loomis heads and chromatic muscles, i dont have anything against them but is a kinda boring and dead board. Thanks for the attempt though.
Also I had forgotten to ask you something OP. What are (you) looking for? Do you have any hobbies or interests to talk about? I may be able to help with that.
