Can we admit it wasn't that good and only the Breaking Bad parts were interesting?
>>587 No, also you're gay
>>588 yes it was pretty shitty

>>587 This was a steaming pile of shit with some memeable moments
>>587 Literally the opposite of the truth. It stops being interesting when it became a BB prequel.
Only watched the first episode. 2 things stood out, it was clearly just BB Fan Fiction, and it was incredibly poorly written. Eg -It took them about 20 mins to set up the fact that the MC was having money problems, they just kept hitting you over the head with it when it could have been shown to us in about 2 mins and then moved on to something more important. -The monologue that the mc gives to the children about how he used to be amazing, was not only terrible, but it was delivered really poorly. -The reveal of Tuco at the end was just pure fan service, which is bad enough on its own, but from our point of view it made no sense to linger on him with such a dramatic musical sting, because we'd never seen him in the show before. I didn't need to see any more episodes. Awful bloody show.
Never made it past season 1. At this point I would need to rewatch breaking bad so I can remember what the hell happened before dipping into this. I mean it's been 10 years or so at this point. Cucumber water and shit
I really enjoyed it as a stand alone show while hating it as a BB prequel i feel like it interferes with sauls character in BB. when i watched BB i never really got the impression that saul has just gone through so much crazy shit 2 seconds before meeting Walt, like the charachter was clearly never written with this huge crazy back-story in mind

Apart from Odenkirk it was a pretty good show. Many dramatic scenes made me feel like Odenkirk was dragging them down with his terrible acting. He was very good at playing the though guy or the comedic relief, but his drama skills were terrible. The slow pace was very close to what you see in many episodes of Breaking Bad, if you don't like it, you should not be watching this anyway. I found it very good to take a break from the fast TikTok-like pace that is the norm today.
i mean, they cant all be winners. but that doesn't mean "it wasn't that good" is completely true.
it sucked ass compared to Breaking Bad
>le super terminator grandpa Lmao
I thought I was a very original drama with comic book stylings just like breaking bad but far more subtly laid out or not as memey
extremely reddit show
