The eternal problem of altchans. Making a million boards which splinter the userbase and cause every thread to feel dead as fuck. Let's stick to the /v/ thread for now. after not playing minecraft for a year or so I finally come back and I literally cannot be assed to start playing again because gregtech was so grindy and tedious it was fine then I was already in but coming back it's like maaaan do I really wanna figure out where I even was what other engineering modpack should I get? I want something semi-light weight I also used some magic stuff like blood magic and twilight forest Tinkers construct is a must, genuinely the coolest mod I've used

>>26392 If you are gonna try newer versions I would recommend Tetra instead of TC or that other similar mod made by some guy that got pissed off by the former's dev, I don't remember the name. It has better vanilla integration (enchantable tools and weapons, i don't remember if that was ever a thing in TC) and lots of compatibility and integration addons for other mods.

Anyone else "stuck" on an old version because of a modpack? I'm still on the Better Minecraft for 1. 19.2 (specifically BMC1 v20 FABRIC) because I can't live without opening a crafting table wherever I am with but a button press. I don't even know which specific mod lets me do that and it apparently isn't part of any newer version of BMC.
