If anyone is unaware, if you want to archive twitch streams using yt-dlp it works similarly to youtube with a few differences. If you pass a twitch channel link (ie https://www.twitch.tv/shibicottonbum) you can use the --wait-for-video <duration> switch to monitor the channel indefinitely and wait for any stream to start and automatically download anything that is streamed even random guerilla streams. This method will also insert intermissions from ad breaks though unless you're subscribed. You also cannot use --live-from-start to get the beginning of the stream after it has already started, it will fail with an error. To record a full VOD from start to finish on twitch you have to grab the actual VOD link where the VOD will be posted.
