honestly people put the "en stagnation" on vshojo itself too much when it's all on the talents. You know, talent freedom and all.
If vshojo were to get hands on into getting them to do shit, Froot and Haruka wouldve been long kicked, for instance. Honestly it surprises me that the only explicit non renovation in vshojo's history has been Matara
Arielle would feel more of the same, but that's because you got used to her the same way you got used to geega before she joined. As far as "something new" for vshojo goes, getting Amalee is something new, even if it feels very lukewarm on the streaming side.
If you were to ask me, if vshojo wants to innovate, unironically listen to Geega on htat lmao. Get talent that isn't just a streamer. Streaming is what it's getting stale, not vshojo. Which is why talents that have so far relied only on it -like Zen- feel in a weird spot right now, and others -like Mouse- have been pushing non streaming venues far stronger than before.
JP is an exception because they work differently and are varied enough. Kson is a lot more than just a streamer, and Nova is very much an experimental thing that, as we can see with UNIVOLT, is going to be more than just streamers. If anything, Henya is the outlier in JP as she is Vshojo EN in all but legal
