I know. But when I clicked on it, the combination of stop-motion, dolls, and the tweet text of, "Courtney watches challenger explosion," made me think I might be watching something I'd see on Adult Swim, South Park, or Team America World Police.
A few years back I was reading the Wikipedia article on Challenger, and horrifically found out that it's likely that the crew survived the explosion and didn't die until the crew cabin impacted the ocean about three minutes after the explosion. Not only that, their emergency oxygen supplies had been activated, so some of them definitely were conscious after the breakup, and it's possible that (with the oxygen supply) they stayed conscious the whole time.
AFAIK, no radio transmissions were made, and no in-flight recording survived, but it's something I can imagine Robot Chicken drawing humor from, (partly because of the fact that tons of kids were watching).
