I don't like the EU either, it's corrupt as fuck and tries to shove their unelected politician's shitty regulation and taxes down peoples throats, but the British economy basically revolved around the trade benefits granted by the EU, and the British political class were way too incompetent, retarded, lazy and arrogant to handle things on their own, which became glaringly apparent by the fact that basically all the prominent pro-Brexit politicians ran off into hiding as soon as it became clear that they had "won".
