Entirely unrelated: I finally made the jump over to Linux Mint like I've been saying I would.
I already ran into a bug too. I thought mouse acceleration was on and simply couldn't be disabled, but that was a red herring. Mouse movement gets slightly fucky when my GPU doesn't have a load on it and starts aggressively down-clocking. From what I've read, it's a known problem with the AMD drivers that will likely be fixed in the future. In the meantime, just leaving a light-weight demo like glxgears running in the background prevents the issue.
Other than that, everything just works. I'm impressed by just how much faster everything is. Even YouTube is faster, pages that took 3-5 seconds to load on Windows load pretty much instantly.
