Exactly. /co/ (like /vyt/ here) fills an unique niche in the greater culture and apart from what I mentioned that's why it persists. It has a clear goal, purpose and userbase even if the actual impetus of comics and cartoons as an industry and cultural force has been wholly obliterated.
I see a bit of myself in the Monarch and consider it the most embarrassing thing ever.

The worst thing about that is is that I do the same and it kinda mimics how reddit is only good as a link aggregator to news websites but the discussions there are worthless in the same way as they're worthless on kiwifarms. Kiwifarms is right wing reddit, reddit is far left, and 4chan is just bots, trolls and spam.

>4chan just has a lot of glowie presence trying to disrupt the site culture
This has been true for decades. Chanology (4chan vs Scientology) was a fully manufactured event where the US government agencies experimented whether it's possible or not to wholly hide their hand by using a decentralized, crowdsourced intelligence and group movement to achieve a goal. Scientology was chosen purely because it's a standard hierarchical organization with vast resources. Of course scientology is shit, but the structure was important here.

No loli no life, no fanservice and pantyshots no anime. Very simple.
