>Please also explain the thing about creating tulpas for deities to possess at will
Truth to be told, this was the original way tulpa worked. If you meditate in full lotus or say specific mantras for a long period of time you might notice devas or Buddhist monks around. Gods, enlightened beings and mantras are not bound to form nor to words. They are a mindwave or a state of consciousness. I heard a Buddhist talk where they explained how mantras become effective when you realize that "you are not the one who says the mantra". The mantra says itself.
They use prayer beads to count how many times they said the mantra in their trance state with their fingers for a reason. The mind is focused on the mantra and it has no room to count or think about "was this enough chanting". You become the mantra, the mantra cannot count itself. The mantra is endless.
While saying the mantras you might notice multiple monks around you who say the mantra with you. Once you say them long enough the monks vanish and you become one with a truth the mantra tries to convey. If you try to say the mantra the right way you connect to those who are trying to say the mantra the right way tirelessly. If you connect to it then you become one with the mantra.
This is a regular occurrence in spiritual practice. Everyone will have to discover it on their own. The less expectation you have while meditating or saying the mantra the more effective it is. This is important.
But what does this have to do with creating a deity tulpa???
The next part is about worship. Deity is worship. Some says the worship makes the deity, but why would anyone worship something that is not a deity? Worship does not create the deity, but empowers it and spreads it's influence. Worship energizes the deity, worship creates the necessary energy to create a connection with said deity.
If you want to connect to a deity read as much as you can about them, read their legends or other scriptures where they are detailed, try to read religious texts instead of dry theories about the deities, but whatever clicks and establishes the connection works. If you look at their depictions then look at their items, their symbols, the colors and the poses they are in. What mudra or item is in their hand, what is their expression. The older the image/statue the better, but pick whatever that "feels right".
If you are in the presence of those sacred texts an energy, an inspiration or some sort of sensation will manifest. Your imagination might feel sharper relating to said deity and to the legends. When that happens then the connection had been made.
When the connection is made you have to start communicating with the deity. First the communication will feel clumsy and you might think you are merely "making it up". Because your mind will try interpreting the interaction and tries it's best "filling in the gaps". On that stage it's all in your mind. Your mind is really "trying to make up" what the deity is trying to say. Like a baby trying to figure out what their parents are saying.
You will have to keep talking to that sensation or voice in your head until you can hear thoughts and ideas which do not belong to you. Once a form manifests be it a body or some weird mist making noises then you have a pseudo tulpa already. It can appear in your imagination while your eyes are closed or it can appear front of you as well. Depends on your mentality. If you never done anything like this before then familiarize yourself with the legends, say the chants and mantras, worship the deity as much as you can and once you feel that you did "everything that you could" then find a relaxed position, close your eyes, empty your head and invite the deity over. Something should appear, if nothing appears then don't force it, do your daily chores or go to sleep. Try it again next day. The less expectation you have the better. Worship. The goal here is to form a connection via worship. Understanding what worship is about. Who are you worshiping and why. Once something appears and you can communicate with it then you can go to the next step.
At this stage you are halfway done. You have a semi conscious thing that follows you around and able to say things. The next part is tricky tho and the success rate depends on your own awareness and how much you know yourself.
You will have to "widen" the connection with the deity. As I said previously; Gods are not limited to form, they are more of a state of consciousness and what you wish to achieve is to "open up" the tulpa to channel the true nature of said God. You are not creating the tulpa. You let part of your mind/tulpa be transformed by the God.
There are multiple nuances here. If you want merely a skill, ability or service from the deity then the best is to create a servitor and offer it for the God so he/she can transform it into a "hand" or artifact. When you want a mere skill from a deity your best bet is a servitor that the God shapes into "the art" the deity governs over. I said "hand" because I have "skill hands". The skill of the entity is downloaded into my etheric hands. If I pull that hand out then I can use their skill.
But if you want to truly understand the God. You want to truly immerse yourself in their way, in their wisdom, in their might, in their path... then you can allow parts of your mind become transformed by their light. You should do this if you want to understand how said god sees the world and existence itself. Part of your mind will be reshaped by said God.
Once you do this then your tulpa is not your servitor nor slave or your bitch you can order around for idiotic reasons. The tulpa represents your connection with your God. If the tulpa is working properly then your connection with the God is superb and you are walking the path which will align you with said God further. If the tulpa is behaving weirdly then the connection suffers from some issue. It is either a shadow issue from your part (your tulpa is your mind after all, if you have problems your tulpa has problems) or something to do with the God and it's nature or authority.
I think I will elaborate on this further because this is where tulpamancy which is about having imaginary friends around and having sex with them (by popular understanding at least) changes. While tulpamancers who have interest in psychonautics can use their tulpa to lucid dream, build internal kingdoms or mind palaces and discover their inner worlds or solve their life traumas, use the tulpa to learn a skill together or use other mindhacks, those tulpamancers are on the right track, but with a deity tulpa and what I wish to explain here... we will be going beyond that.
With a deity tulpa you will do the work of a God. As I said, part of your mind/tulpa becomes the God. But you are not gonna order said God tulpa around. Because if you order a God tulpa around then you are higher than a God, and if you are ordering the tulpa to solve your life issues then your life issues are your true God. The more impotent you are the more impotent your tulpa will become. Why?
The explanation for that is simple. The deity tulpa merely serves as a connection between your God and your mind. On this stage it is not merely "your tulpa" anymore. It is more akin to a guide, a manifestation of your God. A manifestation of your potential to understand said God. Which means if you order the tulpa to do things then you are wasting the energies which are supposed to maintain and develop the connection between the God and you.
And as I said previously. This is a tulpa/part of your mind that aligns with a God. Which means it is autonomous which means it's will is aligned with the God. Gods have multiple forms, your tulpa will develop as your connection with the God increases. Suddenly you will have thoughts and insights relating to said God more and more. You might even develop practices that the God teaches and so. Slowly you start seeing the world the same way as your God does. The stronger you become, the better you can channel the god, as the channeling improves so will the potency and accuracy of the teachings. Your mind, your body and your focus will have to improve. If you or your tulpa is not improving then you are doing something extremely wrongly. This is where you have to watch out and not attack the tulpa or go against your God mindlessly or your mind can split apart. This is where involuntary possessions can appear if you don't know yourself and don't understand the nature of your God either.
Things you have to watch out for. First is compatibility. Working with Gods who are compatible with your nature helps because the God doesn't have to align your mind and energies too much. The faster you can connect to a God the more compatible you are. You will understand each other quite fast and you will become pals.
Ofc the tulpa will be "only in your mind" first, but as you develop together, learn different techniques, energy works, tricks and thoughts from your God, especially about the nature of reality, you might notice you can affect the reality to a degree. Ofc it must align with the will/nature of your God.
Personally I have psychic powers since my teens and practiced them with a somewhat atheistic view towards Gods, but once I started to work with them I realized much. Sometimes I want to bruteforce some solutions with my own mind then one of my deities appear and tell me a far effortless solution or tell me I shouldn't bother with said issue because the issue will resolve itself in the future if I let things "play out". And there are cases they are fixing stuff for me because they tell me I shouldn't abandon my practice with pointless issues.
This deity tulpa was the "worship" route, it is for those who never had a tulpa, spirit helper/guide or anything similar before and are willing to dedicate their lives to worship a God or a pantheon. If you want to turn your tulpa into deity then you will have to go through a "tulpa conversion". I will explain that in the next post how to do it and it's nuances.
