The increasing nepotism and corruption in the industry, not to mention economic inflation and growing (attempt at a) stigma related to "gamers" would make me think so, if it hadn't all been going on for nearly three decades already. At this point it seems too big to fail, like every other industry currently still operating. Would it be a good thing? A bad thing? Who would pick up the pieces and come out on top?
