Welcome to /fast/, 8chan's Sonic the Hedgehog discussion board. >What is this place? This place was created in the 2014 4chan exodus to serve as a place for anons of 4chan's Sonic the Hedgehog General (/sthg/) to migrate to. Back then it didn't have a lot of success, so it remained as a backup place for /sthg/ in times of 4chan outages. Right now some of us are trying to repurpose it into an alternative to the original general. Since we're currently few here, we're mostly staying in a general thread where everything goes to make the posting seem faster (instead of having many threads with very few posts each). I'm sure you'll find the current one below, and in its OP you'll find updated resources and news. If you need to discuss something about the board itself, there's a meta thread to that extent as well. >Resources Password of files where required is generally /sthg/. >>26075 Sonic doesn't believe in jail. He's too anarchist for that. All about freedom. Except that time he was a cop in Waku Waku Sonic Patrolcar. The Chaotix aren't cops, they're private dicks. What are they gonna do, kidnap him? The commie feminists that formed the de-facto government after the Eggman War would lock up the Chaotix for daring to do the right thing.

>>26077 How was anyone put in that stupid jail that Starline broke into then? None of the big baddies that were in there could have been brought in by anyone other then Sonic, The Chaotix's or important characters from the Restoration like Amy, Whisper or Tangle. Even no names at the time like Rough and Tumble were in there along side real dangers like Mimic and Zavok. No society with a proper information network and prison system are gonna say The Chaotix's are kidnaping someone if they hand over a known criminal right to their doorstep.
>>26083 >How was anyone put in that stupid jail that Starline broke into then? The Restoration put them in there for saying they didn't agree with taking in so many "refugees" from Shamar and Mazuri.

>>26078 What about pairing Silver with Martian Manhunter and having Tails pair with Hal Jordan? Also, am I the only one who feels like "every" crossover between media is the same in execution? With how every single character from a series find their most appropiate counter-part, they both swap how "cool" they are, etc., etc., etc.. I feel like the previous Sonic crossovers with Image and Mega Man both avoided this kind of awkwardness.
If only Flynn was allowed to reference all Sonic material. Not only could they then reference the previous multiversal crossovers with Mega Man, where they also met tons of other Sega and Capcom characters (though I suppose they'd have to not name names when referencing Capcom characters here), but they could allude to meeting other superheroes, like the the ridiculous Image Comics crossover from the '90s, or the time they met Sabrina The Teenage Witch. But most of all, this would be the best time to use Scourge, since it's a blatant ripoff of Ultraman from DC Comics, and his entire world is just a blatant ripoff of the various Crime Syndicate worlds. And the Justice League is aware that there have been multiple Crime Syndicate worlds, so if they learned of Scourge, they could point out that not only is he a copy of Sonic, he's a copy of the Crime Syndicate, and there are like four other Crime Syndicate worlds, too. And Ultraman gets his ass handed to him each time. The more meta Scourge gets, the better. Alright. I'm in this deep, so I'm just gonna unleash my full autism and explain more fully why Scourge should have been in this comic. This will require I back up a bit... In 1964, DC introduced The Crime Syndicate of America. Earth-One is the home of the Justice League, who we all know. Earth-Two is the home of the Justice Society, who are actually from older comics from the '40s, and the Justice League is the rebooted version of them. But then to have their cake and eat it too, DC said the Justice Society still lived on Earth-Two, and they're older now, so basically they're the older Justice League. Earth-Three instead has the Crime Syndicate. They're like both the Justice League and Society, but backwards and evil. Superman is Ultraman, Batman is Owlman, Wonder Woman is Superwoman. Interestingly, the Crime Syndicate's fast guy is Johnny Quick, who is obviously equivalent to both the Flash of Earth-One (Barry Allen) and the Flash of Earth-Two (Jay Garrick), but actually there is also a hero called Johnny Quick on Earth-Two, who I don't think ever interacts with the evil Johnny Quick, but Jay Garrick and Barry Allen interact with both of them. So Johnny Quick of Earth-Three is the counterpart of at least two different people on Earth-Two. He's the equivalent of both Jay Garrick and Johnny Quick. And oh, there's also Power Ring, the evil Green Lantern equivalent. There's an evil spirit inside his ring called Volthoom, and it scares him, and his fear is what powers it. But more important is Alexander Luthor of Earth-Three. Being the backwards Lex Luthor, he's the greatest hero of their universe. But being Lex Luthor, he's destined to lose in his universe. His only hope of winning is to recruit the League and Society from their Earths and make them fight the Syndicate outside of Earth-Three. On Earths-One and Two, good always wins, but on Earth-Three, evil always wins. That is until 1985, with the arrival of The Anti-Monitor, essentially the god of the Anti-Matter universe of Qward, where Green Lantern villains The Thunderers and Weaponers live. The Anti-Monitor ate all the positive matter universes, including Earth-Three. The Crime Syndicate tried and failed to stop him, and everyone from their universe died. Except right at the last second, Alexander Luthor and his wife, Lois Lane (who is apparently destined to always fuck the greatest hero of her universe) sent their infant son, Alexander Luthor, Jr., into the multiverse in a prototype one-man spaceship (echoing Superman's origin). He was found by The Monitor (the Anti-Monitor's good counterpart), but not before getting dimension warping powers from being sent through the warping multiverse. With Alex Jr's help, the heroes of the multiverse defeated the Anti-Monitor and saved Earth-One, merging a few other universes into it, including Earth-Two, but Earth-Three was destroyed. Alex Jr., along with Superman and Lois Land of Earth-Two (meaning they were the original Superman and Lois, from Action Comics #1), as well as Superboy from the real world (he was only discovered very shortly before the real world was destroyed. Yes, the real world was destroyed in 1985), all went to a "Paradise Dimension" created by Alex with his powers. Because DC probably felt like it would be sad to literally kill the original Superman, so they had him go to a sort of heaven instead. Also, a couple of other positive-matter universes survived for various reasons. One of these was The Fourth World, the universe where the New Gods, including Darkseid, live. Darkseid used his power to shield it from the Anti-Monitor. Also, The New Gods traverse universes so easily that it almost never comes up that they technically live in a different universe. But they do. Also the cartoon animal universe of Captain Carrot survived. It was just left out entirely because I guess DC figured they didn't want to murder Captain Carrot on screen, because doing that to such a cartoony character would seem ridiculous, even though he was firmly part of the multiverse. But a few years later DC realized that actually the concept of the evil Justice League from the backwards universe was awesome, so they introduced a new Crime Syndicate, who this time were just from the Anti-Matter universe of Qward. See, the point of the Crisis on Infinite Earths was to remove all the alternate universes, because they felt they were too confusing. But they left the Anti-Matter universe, because I guess they figured one alt-universe was fine, and this one was important to Green Lantern lore, and it was the main bad guy in the Crisis, which was still canon and super important. So after the Crisis, history was changed so there was never alt universes, but the Crisis still happened, only now it was a war between the Anti-Matter universe and the (single) positive matter universe, instead of infinite positive universes. And oh, for the record, Qward is not technically the name of the universe, (that's Earth -1, pronounced "Earth Negative One,") it's the name of the planet at the center of the universe, the equivalent of the Green Lantern homeworld, Oa, on Earth-One. But sometimes the whole universe is called Qward. I guess you could call Earth-One Oa by the same logic. The Anti-Matter universe also has an Earth, and it's just called Earth. So anyway the Justice League met a new Crime Syndicate, this time from the Anti-Matter Earth. But the Justice League at the time didn't include the characters everyone loved. This was the era of the Justice League International, when all the famous guys quit, and the league was made up of guys like Booster Gold and Blue Beetle. So the Crime Syndicate they met was equivalents of them, and not the characters we care about. But later, the classic Justice League got back together, and apparently, off-panel, the Crime Syndicate also got shifted around, and now was filled with equivalents of the classics. So you had Ultraman, Owlman, Superwoman, Johnny Quick, and Power Ring. And a few others I think. I forget. They're not important right now. Anyway, there was also a new Alexander Luthor (Sr.). He came to the Justice League world, which he called "Earth 2," though this isn't an official title, and is an ironic joke on how the Justice League sees themselves as the center of the multiverse. (Well actually, after all the universes merged together in the Crisis on Infinite Earths, Earth is literally the center of the multiverse. Specifically, Central Park in New York City on Earth-One. This would be a plot point in a few stories, like Our Worlds At War, from 2001, but that isn't terribly important for our purposes.) So Alexander Luthor recruits the Justice League to help him beat the Crime Syndicate, who have killed all the other heroes of their world, like The Jester, the equivalent of The Joker. But the writer of this story remembered an older bit of DC trivia. Before "Superwoman" was the name of the evil Wonder Woman of Earth-Three, it was the name Lois Lane took on when she occasionally gained Superman powers, starting back in the early '40s. So here they established that Superwoman was the equivalent of Wonder Woman, but she was also the equivalent of Lois Lane, so she had a relationship with her equivalent of Superman, Ultraman. Also she was cheating on him with her equivalent of Batman, Owlman, because I guess this is the evil universe, so of course.

In 2011 Flash went back in time to save his mother from getting killed when he was a kid, and this broke history and when it got pieced back together history was different across the whole multiverse. Also they later retconned that it was extra different because Dr. Manhattan from Watchmen stole five years of time from the timeline, but later they got it back. Don't worry about it. Anyway, The Crime Syndicate of Earth-3 was different now. Like, not totally different, they were still versions of the classic lineup, but they never fought the Justice League before. It's unclear if the Justice League would remember fighting them before they got changed into their current versions. Probably not. The Earth-Three and Antimatter Crime Syndicates would have still existed in the past, and the Antimatter Crime Syndicate would even still technically exist in the present, but I think they stopped showing up unless they did again in a newer story I haven't read yet. Anyway, The Crime Syndicate of Earth 3 (the hyphen gets dropped to denote that it's after Flash changed history) came to Prime Earth and took over the world. In this version of the Crime Syndicate, Alexander Luthor (Sr.) (but technically a new guy separate from the various Alexander Luthors that came before) killed the evil version of Shazam (formerly known as Captain Marvel until Flash changed history), Mazahs, and stole his powers. Now, historically, Shazam was the name of the wizard that gave Captain Marvel his powers, but since that changed after Flash changed history, this meant that by stealing his powers, Alexander Luthor was now the new Mazahs. He's also kind of a dick, and he gets killed. Meanwhile, Lex Luthor from the main universe got a bunch of guys together and long story short they ended up killing most of the Crime Syndicate, except for Superwoman. But twist! Superwoman is pregnant! Who could the father be? Ultraman? But we know she cheats on him with Owlman (because this was an element carried over from the Antimatter Crime Syndicate, even though those are technically different people). So it's Owlman's kid, right? No! Because the writer of this story, Geoff Johns, remembered that Superwoman is Lois Lane, and on the original Earth-Three, Lois Lane was Alexander Luthor's wife, and birthed his son, Alexander Luthor, Jr.. So turns out that Superwoman, the slut she is, was cheating on both Ultraman and Owlman with Alexander Luthor, and she gives birth to his baby, who I'm pretty sure had powers due to his parentage. Around this same time, Darkseid was at war with The Anti-Monitor (oh yeah he got revived by Green Lantern's nemesis Sinestro back in like 2008) over the Anti-Life Equation, Darkseid's ultimate MacGuffin which is a mathematical equation which proves life isn't worth living, so anyone who hears it will give up their will and become the slave of whoever uses it. But due to many decades of bad writing, sometimes The Anti-Life Equation is like a massive bunch of energy, and one time it was personified as a demon or something. Also, Darkseid got the Anti-Life Equation before, in like 2009, in Final Crisis, but it was reversed because Flash came back to life and gave everybody The Life Equation, which I guess was Speed, or Love, or Hope, or something like that. Anyway Darkseid died (actually two or three times. He was already a ghost at that point) but since he's a God he's fundamental to existence so he was recreated and... I guess he didn't have the Anti-Life Equation anymore? Even though people remember Final Crisis, because it's pretty important to history. Batman died for a while. Actually he got shot back in time by Darkseid's eye lasers and became a caveman. But everyone thought he was dead and it was important to history. Anyway turns out The Anti-Monitor had the Anti-Life Equation all along. His real name was Mobius, as in the original owner of the Mobius Chair, owned by Metron, the New God of Knowledge. So the Justice League purges the Anti-Life Equation from him, under the assumption that then he won't be evil anymore. Nope. He's still evil. Anyway him and Darkseid kill each other, but Darkseid's daughter, Grail, kidnapped Superwoman's baby and put Darkseid's soul in it or something, and then he grew up into being Darkseid again. But my point is, this means Darkseid is technically Alexander Luthor, Jr. now. Why is this important? Because Alexander Luthor, Jr. is deeply tied up with the Crime Syndicate. He was born to their world, and he recreated their world, and he's one of the biggest villains in DC, even aside from being Darkseid now. Of course, this Alexander Luthor, Jr. is technically a different guy than the original, but he's the equivalent, and the equivalency is important with characters such as his parents. It's why they are his parents. And Darkseid has never been rebooted. He survived the Crisis on Infinite Earths unphased. So he would remember the previous Alexander Luthor, Jr., and appreciate the irony of his new body. So if he met yet another version of the Crime Syndicate, such as the Suppression Squad of Scourge's world, he would surely mock them for being yet another take on this very failed concept. The Crime Syndicates keep being created just to die, or even worse, be forgotten. And that's precisely what happened to Scourge's world. And Scourge is a character made interesting by his metatextual existence, and by his semi-self aware nature. He and his writer were aware that he was lame (even if Scourge overcompensates rather than admitting his faults), and this would be amplified by showing him that he's not just a ripoff of Sonic's world, but just one of many "evil Justice League" worlds. Scourge is even lamer than he thought. And Scourge is Ultraman, and Darkseid is Alexander Luthor, Jr., who consistently ends up defeating Ultraman in the end. (Of course the very existence of Sonic would throw a wrench into the whole thing that Darkseid wouldn't expect.) Also, Eggman better meet Egg Fu. DC actually has an egg themed supervillain that predates Eggman by decades. And he's literally a big walking Egg. You gotta have Eggman meet him. Or at least have Wonder Woman (Egg Fu's nemesis) make some remark about it. Also there are so many actually good mad scientist characters he should meet, the most prominent being Lex Luthor. But come on. Egg Fu. In 52 Egg Fu was responsible for kidnapping most of the mad scientists in the world and forcing them to make stuff for him. That would be a good excuse to get them all together, then have Eggman fight Egg Fu for leadership. Starline can come too. They shouldn't have killed him off, but instead just had him slink off, so that they could bring him back when they need more mad scientists. >>26079

I'm not talking about StC much because it doesn't fuck with continuity too hard, but it's great. But oh yeah, it does fuck with Robotnik's origin. See, in StC, Robotnik was originally Kintobor. He was friends with Sonic, and was doing an experiment where Sonic powered a machine called the ROCC to use the Chaos Emeralds to absorb all the evil in the world, but then he went for a snack and when carrying a rotten egg, tripped over a cord and smashed into the ROCC, causing a reaction with the emeralds and egg which turned him into Robotnik. Now, obviously, this can't be canon to anything resembling the games. So what do we do? Well Sonic and Robotnik weren't friends when they'd first met, so I'd shift this story to be set after Sonic movie 1, at least. Another notable thing is that in StC, Super Sonic is an evil split personality. So I'd kill two birds with one stone. This story is set only shortly before RBR. We can say Sonic temporarily gave Robotnik a chance to be a good guy. Maybe he even was gonna turn over a new leaf. They were doing experiments with the Chaos Emeralds, then Robotnik went to the fridge to get a snack. When he tripped over the cord, it didn't turn him evil, it turned Super Sonic evil. But we can say that this evil Super Sonic doesn't come out every time Sonic becomes Super. It's only under extreme stress and when he doesn't have enough rings or something. So he can still become Super normally, which he can't do in StC. But Robotnik becoming evil in this event is important, because in StC's Chaotix adaptation, he creates The Brotherhood of Metallix, an army of Metal Sonics that goes rogue and takes over Little Planet, using it to rewrite time so they rule the world. Sonic notices they made it so in the new timeline, Kintobor never became Robotnik. He deduces that Robotnik is the only one who can defeat The Brotherhood, so he goes back in time to when he and Kintobor were working on the ROCC, then replaces the egg in his fridge with a rotten egg, and tugs on the power cord so Kintobor trips, becoming Robotnik. So how can we fit this all into something resembling game continuity? Robotnik was never Kintobor, but maybe once he and Sonic really did become friends, but later Sonic had to go back in time and make sure Robotnik became evil (again). But what could he put in the fridge instead of a rotten egg that would still turn Robotnik evil? Simple. Gerald Robotnik's journal, and a security cam photo of Gun Soldier Mister Smith shooting Maria on the ARK. (For reference, Mister Smith is the name Sonic X gives to the soldier who shot Maria, as they show him in deep regret in modern day. Gotta keep that canon.) Robotnik is in such shock after seeing this that he accidentally trips over the cord (which future-Sonic is pulling) into the ROCC, causing the explosion, only in this version it doesn't create Robotnik, it creates Dark Super Sonic. On the topic of Sonic X, it's simple enough to fit. Just there were never two universes. Sonic was just running along and met Chris one day. No need for alt universes. Season 1 takes place before Sonic Adventure. Sonic Heroes takes place immediately after the episode where the Chaotix first appear. But Sonic X's Sonic Battle adaptation is kind of fucked, because it's nothing like the game, but it's still important, because it builds a relationship between Cream and Emerl that the game doesn't really have, but which seems to be referenced in the ending of Sonic Advance 3. So the first few appearances of Emerl in X happen before the game, but then they meet in the way they met in the game, but then we gotta say most of the events of the anime, at least regarding Cream, happen between fights in the game. And in the end, when she basically has to kill Emerl... uh... she just knocks him out and they think he got better, until he got crazy again. As for how Shadow comes back to life, that's another thing that has three different explanations. Obviously the game is canon. In Archie, Shadow is found in space by aliens called The Bem, who are at war with aliens called The Xorda. The Bem revive Shadow but he immediately gets shot down to the ground by The Xorda, and he is found by Sonic and friends. We can say this basically happened only he was found by Robotnik instead, and then Sonic Heroes happened, and then the story that happens right after Sonic and friends find Shadow in the comics. In Sonic X Season 3, Robotnik was after finding Shadow but Heroes doesn't happen, instead Shadow just comes back when everyone goes to space. We'd just say Shadow was already alive again by this point, but he still had amnesia. Sonic X Season 3 takes place before Shadow the Hedgehog. The Archie comics don't adapt Shadow the Hedgehog, but instead have an issue where Shadow finds Gerald's journal that tells him he was made to fight The Black Arms, who are due to arrive soon, but have been slowed down by fighting The Xorda. This effectively caught up Shadow's character development to that of the games. The Black Arms never did arrive, but after The Super Genesis Wave, history was changed so they already arrived at some point in the recent past, and the game happened off-panel. We'd say the game happened shortly after the issue where Shadow found Gerald's journal. Sonic '06 never got adapted into anything, but that's fine. The only adaptation at the time was Archie. '06 just happens in roughly release order, between stories. So does Rivals. Archie Silver is just the one from Rivals, which is never referenced in Archie, but whatever. Any times characters meet for the first time in an adaptation, but they should have met before in a game, we can just gloss over that. That's a small alteration relative to everything else.

Oh yeah, I forgot to say how I'd try to incorporate the manga, the one where Sonic is a normal kid named Nicky and Sonic is his superhero alt-personality. Obviously it's one of the things furthest away from most of the franchise, but it's also the source of Amy and Charmy, and that is notable. Another thing that makes this series strange is that it was actually seven or eight different series. One each for grades 1-6, plus a seventh one published in a magazine that wasn't pretending to be educational and for grade-schoolers (but obviously was still for young boys), and a couple appearances in special issues outside any of these series. Though they were technically different series, they were published by the same company and seemed to be all based on the same outline. But there are things like Tails being introduced as if for the first time in multiple different chapters, because those chapters were technically in different magazines. But meanwhile other magazines would just have him show up and expect you to understand who he is. So they are probably best thought of as technically different continuities, but really they're very much related to each other, much more than, say, SatAM and Archie. But that's not the most confusing thing. The most confusing thing is that one of the several artists they had doing these various series just plain decided to ignore all the model sheets and draw the characters however he wanted. So in his chapters, Amy, Charmy, and secondary villain Anton Verruca all had radically different designs. Nicky's sister was named Anita instead of her usual name of Tania. Nicky himself was brown instead of blue, until a few chapters in when this was the one thing that actually changed and Nicky started being colored as blue. This author happened to be the guy who wrote and drew the first couple chapters released, so the few English-speakers who care often think that these were the original designs and they changed later, but that's not the case. Naoto Oshima provided character designs, including Classic Amy, for example, and then this one guy just ignored them. Even when he sometimes did a chapter in one of the other magazines that was usually or previously done by another mangaka, he just did his own weird designs anyway. Also, the magazines had different formats. Obviously the stories in the first-grade magazine were a bit simpler. Many of the third-grade stories are just quick gags that are only a couple pages. Most importantly, the fourth-grade magazine published illustrated prose stories, not comics, written by the guy who did the actual story bible (or whatever it would be called) that the other mangaka were supposed to be following. However, since they're actual prose, nobody has been autistic enough to do fan translations of them yet, and using Google Translate on them isn't as simple or practical as it was on the manga chapters. There are a few fan translations for the manga chapters, and I used Google Translate on many more, but there are a few I couldn't find even in Japanese. I did manage to find the first and last stories, but there are a couple of chapters that could possibly have important info, but I don't know since I couldn't find them. But I didn't actually say what the series was, did I? It takes place in Hedgehog Town. Nicky is a little nerdy hedgehog kid. He has a family which includes his father, Paulie, his sister, Tania/Anita (that one guy calls her Anita even though she has a T on her shirt in many chapters), and his mother, whose name I forget because I don't recall any chapters where she was very important. He also has a girlfriend, Amy Rose. Amy is a bitch, though, and constantly talking shit to Nicky about what a little bitch he is. She likes Sonic better. Unbeknownst to anybody, including Nicky, Nicky turns into Sonic in times of extreme stress, when he wishes he was brave enough to do important things. Frequently, this means saving Amy from getting raped by local bully, Anton Verruca. But then it's not rape all the time, because there are multiple times when Amy agrees that she will go off with Anton if he beats Nicky at something, or if Nicky just doesn't show up in time to "save" her. Amy reacts to Sonic the same way she does in the games. She's a massive fangirl, but Sonic never seems to give her any romantic attention. Eventually, Eggman shows up to Hedgehog Town, looking for Sonic, and disguises himself as local police officer, Dogman. He sometimes recruits Anton to work for him, but other times Eggman attacks Anton the same as anyone else. He doesn't show much loyalty, and I don't think Anton realizes he's working for Eggman, since people seem to not realize Dogman is Eggman. Tails shows up after a while, saying that he always follows Sonic around, and this brought him to Hedgehog Town. I'm not sure if they ever explain it in a chapter I can't find, as it isn't evident in his earliest appearances, but later on, Tails knows Nicky is Sonic. In one of the last chapters (but not the very last story) Amy also learns that Nicky is Sonic. However, I'm missing at least one chapter immediately before the last story, and I'm not sure if that one explains it, but Nicky just doesn't appear or get referenced in the last story. So I'm not sure if Nicky ever learns he is Sonic, or transforms into Sonic permanently, or if the story ever makes a point that it's important that Amy now knows Nicky is Sonic. Also, Charmy appears for the first time, but he is very strange, and I'm missing many of his appearances. He has a radically different design in chapters by that one weird artist, and comes out of a "Time Box" which he can use to turn back time before Sonic lost a battle and make it so Sonic can win. One notable story involves Paulie telling Nicky of when he first met Sonic. Before Nicky was born, Paulie was flying an experimental aircraft but lost control and almost crashed. Sonic appeared to him and guided him (spiritually) to regain control of the aircraft and make an emergency landing. He landed in front of Nicky's mom's house. That's how they met. If this is time travel, or if Sonic is some sort of eternal spirit that possesses Nicky, or what. Sonic does seem to be something like Nicky when he gains confidence, but as far as I know, no actual explanation is ever given for why he actually transforms, or for how he met Paulie before Nicky was born. At one point, they adapt Sonic 2. Actually, I think they do multiple times, in different magazines. One of these times involves going not just to Westside Island and doing a few setpieces from the game, but also travelling through time.

Message too long. Click here to view full text.

So how could I possibly try to mesh this into something that could theoretically mesh with the games? It would have to be a bit convoluted, but I would do a framing story to set it up. Say that before the first chapter, Sonic got caught in an explosion or something and got amnesia. He was found by Paulie, who recognizes Sonic from being saved by him back in the day. Sonic doesn't remember who he is, and acts like a normal kid, who would be scared in this situation. Instead of shocking him, perhaps into a bad state, by telling him the truth, Paulie takes him in like a son, to protect him. Perhaps he almost calls him "Sonic" one time by mistake, but then tries to cover up by saying he called him "Nick," which then becomes "Nicky." We can say that Nicky was already a fan of Sonic, and felt herself "strangely" attracted to Nicky when he showed up to town. The rest of the series can pretty much happen as normal. This can be how Sonic first met Amy and Charmy. That doesn't really contradict anything from the games. The Sonic CD adaptation is pretty different from the actual game. I think what I'd do is say that that actually happens after the game. Right before the game, Nicky gets his memory back and becomes Sonic full time, unless one of the missing chapters actually explains why Nicky doesn't appear in the final chapters. I have to find those and confirm, if I can. But otherwise, Nicky just gets his memories back and becomes Sonic full time, then Sonic CD happens, then the Sonic CD manga adaptation happens.

Wave is the best girl for Tails Anonymous 01/14/2023 (Sat) 02:13:15 No. 25487 [Reply]
Go ahead, convince me that I'm wrong.
They have never once had a positive interaction. Cream would be a better fit for Tails and they barely know each other.

>Has an inconsistent tone so it tries to be both srs business and wacky cartoon hijinks >Robotnik is a dull villain (complete with being a villain right out of Captain Planet) who's only memorable for having Jim Cummings voice him >Has a bloated crew of unneeded sidekicks before the games did it. Then do it again with that Cree Summer voiced dragon. >Rings do whatever the plot needs them to do >Hit and miss voice direction (Robotnik sounds okay enough but is too flat of a character to take advantage of Cummings' talent, Antoine is junk, Urkel Sonic, etc.) How did this show get memed into being good?

It saddens me the SatAM fandom is dead.
>>25704 I watched prime blindly knowing barely anything about Sonic and I though it was fine. A little silly and over the top, but okay.
>>25765 Did you watch it after "Season 3" came out? Admittedly, it's better than the first two batches of episodes. Not great, but at least Nine is a semi-interesting character, and gets a lot of focus here. I wouldn't mind seeing him appear more. I guess if they can't use Scourge, this is the next best thing. Better than Surge, at least. And a lot better than Kit. Since they insist the IDW comics and Prime are both canon to the games (and thus to each other), they should just fucking kill Kit and have Surge and Nine be a duo. Then kill Surge and just use Scourge, because there's no fucking way Ken Penders can claim a character literally named "Evil Sonic" isn't derivative, and that he owns it. Scourge is from an alternate universe anyway. Just have him show up in the main universe. The first two thirds of Prime were fucking boring though. Nothing happened. The last third was too slow but at least stuff was happening, albeit slowly.

>>25615 That is some sexy art in the second story. Also holy shit ghost girl cameo?? Oh wow Spagonia?? >that view of the city >cat slightly nervous yes, yes this is acceptable. Man that was so nice. The art, the expressions, the body language, the details, the progression. It came together so well and it felt genuine. It feels it's been ages since characters expressed feelings and emotions with nuance and subtlety. >>25617 >silver deserves better kek

Hello, I have a question. I've been wanting to start drawing commissions instead of going homeless. Of course, unless you're willing to draw furries, you're screwed. Thankfully I love Sonic and MLP and would be even willing to draw NSFW stuff. The thing is I don't know where to look and where the place to advertise myself are. Usual furry sites usually are about disney style snout shit. Where can I find the autismos that'd be willing to pay do their donut steel drawn? Also if you're still here. You guys should move to sleepychan or any other site. A fresh start is what this board needs.
>>25549 >advertise myself Today you probably have to build recognition on social media sites by doing their retarded rituals like participating in popular topics and threads to get attention, then through exposure or networking you get commissions. Still worth a try to maintain a presence on sites where there might be sonicfags present though, like IB, pixiv, and I think there might be a writefag site or two.

Anyone here play any Sonic related mobile games? Speed Battle? SEGA Heroes? I've found that they're really good time wasters.

>>11648 Well damn anon, sorry that happened. I had only downloaded Runners maybe a month before it shut down so I wasn't able to get Shadow either.
>>11648 The early days of Runners was quite fun, but yeah they fucked up everything after launch badly. I feel bad for anyone who put money into it considering it only lasted around a year before being shut down.
>>11637 Speed Battle can get me quite invested, sadly the wait for for frags, specially the event ones and the ads after every race are a mood kill

Sonic Time Corruption - A Classic Sonic fan game Anonymous 03/13/2019 (Wed) 19:08:25 No. 13857 [Reply] [Last]
Hello /fast/, The name's MrLevRocks, Lev for short, and I want to present you with a fan game that a few guys and me have been working on. I missed the mark making it the first fan game presented here, some anon got that honour, but alas… Anyways, you might be wondering what Sonic Time Corruption (logo send) is and why I chose to present it here. For starters, it's just a plain classic-flavour Sonic fan game lead by me. As you can tell from the title, it's got something to do with time and indeed that is the main concept of it. It's similar to Sonic CD in structure, but has some differences in how it plays out. Story-wise, I can't add much more either, Robotnik stole the Master Emerald, went to a new island of the week called Northwood Island where the Time Stones are, hijinks ensue. Now as to why I chose to post about it here. You may have noticed, I have yet to mention what actually is done. Don't worry, I'm not coming in empty handed, that'd be rude, but the small team and I lack the capacity to make something of scale. I'm personally an artist myself and what we, what I, am looking for is a programmer that is familiar with the GameMaker Language used in GameMaker Studio (1.4, in our case). I'm looking more for reliability and availability myself, rather than raw skill, but I'll tell you the reason for that next post. As for myself, you can look up my online handle above and easily find accounts of mine, proving that I'm not just bluffing, I too do my part in bringing my vision (technically not mine, but that's a story I don't want to have to type out now, ask if you're interested) to life. If you're interested, do post here, I'll share my email once I found someone so the private stuff can be discussed in private.

>>25439 Hey fag, long time no see. It's cool to see some of the stuff you've teased before coming together. You managed to get the people you needed then? Any news on the Wolfenstein stage? That was looking awesome.
>>25446 Well, no. That's why it took so long, trying to scrable together the folks I have. Still, it's coming together. >Any news on the Wolfenstein stage? That was looking awesome. No, since we've been focussing on implementing the first stage, the later ones fell to the side. Might be a while before we come back to that one I'm afraid.

>>25447 Oh well, that's fair. I wasn't really expecting much progress on it given how slow it's going but I thought I'd ask regardless. It's been a few years so I can be patient. You're contributing to Sonic Galactic too right? Everything I come across from it looks wonderful.
