OPERATION MAX REVIVE Rebuild the board's userbase and activity through simple, but effective methods 1. Post across the entire board Activity creates activity. Use threads you like, make new ones if topics don't exist. Easy examples are Drawthreads and Friday Night threads, go request or draw something right now. 2. Recruit and recover lost or potential anons Use this site's OC and features to entice anons if necessary when recruiting, just inform that we are alive. Here's some sites and links with at least some confirmed anons that can be recruited again: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/8chotwheels https://steamcommunity.com/groups/SSAVCH
[Expand Post]https://steamcommunity.com/groups/video_games https://steamcommunity.com/groups/8chmohun https://steamcommunity.com/groups/8chan_monster https://steamcommunity.com/groups/GoodLuckEbolaChan https://steamcommunity.com/search/groups/#text=8ch.net https://steamcommunity.com/search/groups/#text=8chan Other sites that might yield fruitful results and have anons (art sites use an account so you can see 18+ content): https://www.deviantart.com/search?q=Vivian+James https://www.newgrounds.com/search/summary?suitabilities=etm&terms=Vivian%20James https://twitter.com/search?q=Vivian%20James&src=typed_query&f=image https://rpgcodex.net/ https://old.reddit.com/r/KotakuInAction/ Somewhere on Telegram Just searching up GG or 8chan-related terms on certain places/sites can get you possible results. 3. Make your own OC/Memes/Content Doesn't matter what it is even if its just simple edits or full-on drawings or webms, just make it and have fun. Ask in thread for software recs if necessary. 4. Encourage or create fun events, activities, projects, etc. Think things like 8chanmania, weekly streams, re-translation projects, demo days, or zzz's gaming magazine for example. If you want to do something, try making or reviving it, it can't hurt and these things are great for the board. 5. Use other boards All it takes for a board to grow is at least 2 dedicated anons using it. Don't be afraid to make a post, check places periodically, shill, or what have you. Don't force discussions to boards, just encourage the usage of them. 2. OPERATION TRAJAN: Collect and catalog all of the various localization and censorship accounts of past video games into a single repository from these sources: romhacking.net The_Cutting_Room_Floor/tcrf.net Segaretro.org https://redirect.invidious.io/channel/UCFItIX8SIs4zqhJCHpbeV1A Examples: http://archive.vn/XQOHW Sony's policies forces censorship; JP devs allegedly have to go through ENG approval process: https://archive.fo/awzFF - Japanese blog post about it: https://archive.fo/bF9bE Sony Japan President Says PS4 Censorship Policy Is To Match Global Standards And Protect Kids: https://archive.fo/U3GLa - Confirms censorship was deliberate: https://archive.fo/XgAgP - No rules for censorship policies, games judged case-by-case: https://archive.fo/37DhK - Marvelous partner starts petition against policy: https://archive.fo/rxQtf https://archive.fo/84UHo • Twitterfags: Tweet with Sony's stock code $SNE so that investors see your tweets and know you're pissed. • Consider spreading OP Timber materials to targets as well: http://archive.vn/URjtu ONGOING TASKS: A. >>989858 Gellman's amnesia can apply if even someone knows the the false information is intentional. Instead of "they'd get this wrong, but they'd never get that wrong" it's "they'd lie about this, but they'd never lie about that". Same principle.
Hey You stupid mutts, You want to be the host of the WC, and You can't, even for your own lives, be actually competent: First Trump, now the Cope Murica Final Right now, You fags really are in a complete downfall lmao, even the fucking krauts managed to neutralize the anglo and bong retards
I am reminded of when Sam Harris said the 2020 election was a justified conspiracy since Trump is ‘a threat to our democracy’, and it makes me wonder if these guys understand that they’re undermining democracy to protect The Democracy™, or that they sound like supervillains.
>>377838 >krauts managed to neutralize the anglo and bong retards They failed with the Jews so it's a fail in general.
>>377839 Their use of "Democracy" and the context they use it in is really becoming evocative of Democratic Kampuchea, or Democratic Republic of Korea, or German Democratic Republic, or...
>>989869 >luciano absorbed the pedonigger script Yet more proof of chrischans singularity theory.

>>989863 >If they lie about this, they can lie about anything smaller in scope surely Yes, this is how a rational person who doesn't suffer from Gellman's amnesia thinks.
>>377836 Mark, why are your people like this?
>>377843 Sorry everybody, let's go full Lindsay-fag and just post a video. Hi, Lindsay-fag.
>>377827 >It's just loud noises bro. wew
>>377848 yeah lol what a pussy lol just scared of some pops lol hurt his ear on the podium when he fell lol
>>377846 Alien crabs is a specific metaphor.
I don't remember now, but Trump was a average president and the "far right" was disappointed with him, to the point that MAGA was seeing as a Reddit ideology, the new thing was waiting for the social collapse, Is he going to be modern american Hitler for real this time?
>>377851 No.Trump is nothing but hot air. A blustery wind machine. Great men of Hitler's charisma are just too rare to find one who also wants to save the white race.
(140.95 KB 758x1108 JJK 32.jpeg)

>>377844 But why? What would be the purpose of trying to pretend to be the other guy aside from trying to create a fall guy? He should've known he would never be able get away with it, so the idea of identity theft just for the assassination sounds absurd to me. The best excuses I can think of is that Yearick hated Crooks and wanted to destroy him via association, or that he was just trying to bide time while he escapes the country. Either way, if this is true, I think this part of the plan in particular was very poorly planned out.
(17.50 KB 200x332 OP.jpg)

>>377847 Well yes, it's pertinent. It's necessary to be able to define these things, old retards will say "it's socialism" but not be able to wrap their heads around what exactly socialism is or how what leftists do relates to socialism. >>377851 No, it'll probably be the same, he'll probably never stop shilling for israel and doing banal shit with no real impact, unless Congress and the alphabet agencies stop acting malicious (unlikely) an even then it's a tossup if he'd actually do anything he said in 2016
>>377851 >Trump was a average president and the "far right" was disappointed with him, to the point that MAGA was seeing as a Reddit ideology, the new thing was waiting for the social collapse Only in among the spheres of the alt-right/alt-lite and their successors. Normal people mostly view him as a far-right candidate, as neocons like DeSantis are considered moderate and full-on leftists are viewed as centrists. In the event he gets into office, his cult of personality will become more devoted to him while everyone else will be more and more disillusioned with him as time passes like last time depending on how much he leans into the fearmongering predictions made about him.
>>377855 >full-on leftists Meant to include "like RFK".
(3.64 MB 640x800 1676797097288237.webm)

>>377851 I mean he didn't build the wall or arrest Hilary or drain the swamp...
>>377854 >old retards will say "it's socialism" but not be able to wrap their heads around what exactly socialism is or how what leftists do relates to socialism. Yeah. We need to add that commentary to James' definition: < Everything that the Left does to create a Stalinist Dictatorship is "saving our democracy" to them. Like gun control. >>377855 The Overton window has shifted so far left that Trump is "the far right".
>>377855 Also yeah, overton window, people like >>377857 think that anyone slightly libertarian-right is a fascist, such as Musk (don't get me wrong, he's retarded, but common normalfag discourse is he's a white nationalist)
(915.73 KB 480x480 gamer_trump.mp4)

>>377857 Well, I seriously hope that this near-death experience teaches Trump to be a lot more hardline. This should be his Andrew Jackson moment where, after a failed assassination attempt, he comes back and actually does some real, tangible damage to the deep state and co.
>>989864 When they say "our democracy, what they actually mean is "our power and control".
>>377853 Yearick would have turned 38 this year. Maybe he was having a midlife crisis. An existential crisis. He had surgery to fix the ear he deformed with that gauge earring. Tried to start a new life with a clean slate by stealing someone else's identity. Crooks is a pot-smoking nobody who probably wasn't going to amount to anything. It wasn't a horrible act of fraud to steal Crooks identity: mostly just wiped out Yearick's criminal past. And none of it did anything to change who he was or his life, so he Leroy Jenkins'ed a meaning into his life.

>>377857 Why do they all talk like they're disney characters?
(60.21 KB 344x345 sip.png)

>>377851 If he isn't cheated again like 2020 I expect more "monitoring the situation" AKA "doing nothing" while lefties continue burning everything to the ground with well-funded domestic terrorism. He's already striking deals to betray his supporters with "staple a green card to their diploma" policies. His past performance was big talk, delivering on very little, & surrounding himself with corrupt faggots who tirelessly undermine his stated goals. Many want to believe he's been betrayed enough to become what the media pretends he is, but this is a guy who "plays ball" to "make deals". He has no other mode & will continue screwing his base by making dumb compromises with vile swamp creatures.
>>377865 >why do the retards drowned in disney crap from childhood sound like they're characters from the same trash they openly worship and mass consume It's the same reason why the left has that weird fixation with the 1950s status quo where they love everything about it despite it being the shit they violently hate the most, until it works in their favor and then we get Red Scare 2.0 with every fucking message being about fucking Russia.
>>377857 That thing's a woman when I initially assumed it was a little boy. >>377865 Peter Pan syndrome and a pathetic attempt at being zany that's annoying.
>>377865 Everyone thinks they're in a movie, so they use bullshit movie quotes and expressions and personality types when going about their business in real life because their lives have become so consumed by movies/TV that they aren't able to distinguish the two. Sam Hyde made a video many years ago discussing this idea but it must have been swiped off youtube. If I find it, I'll post it ITT.
>>377869 >Everyone thinks they're in a movie, so they use bullshit movie quotes and expressions and personality types when going about their business in real life because their lives have become so consumed by movies/TV that they aren't able to distinguish the two The Truman Syndrome?
>>377870 Maybe, but it goes a little bit in a different direction than solipsism, not necessarily that the world revolves around them, but that they're a character in some movie or tv show. They behave in a way like they're being watched at all times by some judgmental force and so they talk in this exaggerated way like what you see on a sitcom, played for laughs by an audience that isn't there. Also brought about the use of such fake phrases in common parlance, like "awkwaaaaard~" or "ummm, too much information", shit like that.
>>377871 >They behave in a way like they're being watched at all times by some judgmental force Women have a consciousness?

>>377833 >There are services that exist solely to collect, collate, and manage people's subscriptions because they can't be bothered to look at their monthly bank statements. >This service is used by the same people who are going to vote for politicians that will craft the nation's economic policies. Jesus Christ, at this point I'm starting to think that the Jewish cabal to drain the nation of all it's shekels may actually be the only thing staving off complete economic collapse at this point. How the fuck do you not even know what hands are in your pocket each month taking money out? They send you a fucking itemized list.
>>377872 If you think that implies that, then yes. They follow the group, and assume the group is always watching.
Looks like this pig was really longing for that Whopper or Big Mac that it didn't ate.
>ESL retards are in full force This is going to be a wonderful week.
>>377875 >How the fuck do you not even know what hands are in your pocket each month taking money out? Well, it's rather simple. You just don't pay attention. I sort of fall into this category as I don't watch my finances like a hawk (Even though I really should), but I still keep an estimate of what my finances are going out compared to coming in. These people don't even bother with that.
>>377876 I don't keep up with the eceleb props so I just got mixed up when I saw the name and just wanted to shitpost.
>>377879 I have my bank text me for every payment made, even for things as miniscule as a $.50 payment for a monthly newsletter I subscribe to.

She's still too young to realize that there will NEVER be an election where the other side isn't considered the absolute goddamned devil. That's HOW they keep the two party system which provides a manageable illusion of control for the MONOparty.
Elections always bring out the worst retards here.

>>989938 Dunning-Kruger in a nutshell, know enough to have an opinion and think that makes their opinion worth more than it actually is. >>377885 >>377886 The only thing Nixon did wrong was giving legitimacy to Mao's China, had he not it probably could have collapsed after the Cultural Revolution, but I blame (((Kissinger))) for that. Same with supplying the Israelis after the October War. >>377887 Are you talking about another case where a KGB backed communist coup takes out a reformist monarchy and installs a Marxist-Leninist dictatorship that inevitably collapses the country to levels far below what they achieved before said monarch took power, just like Ethiopia?
>>377888 >the only thing Nixon did wrong was empower one of America's greatest enemies Yeah, and the only thing the jews did wrong was be evil. Are you just retarded or something?
>>377875 This is literally everybody under 40.
>>377891 >those prices What year?
>>377891 Normalfags/normalniggers My subscriptions: ISP - $70 Cell phone - $35 VoIP landline - $10 Gun range - $40 The Pirate Bay - $0
>>377891 jesus christ, what a hollow life this creature leads. Even entertaining the concept of subscribing to an entertainment service, subscribing so redundantly is mindblowing. Spotify and Apple Music? What the fuck is with all the subscriptions for normal shit? Dollarshaveclub, ipsy is apparently scheduled makeup delivery, sephora play and birchbox are the same? Hemper is scheduled "head shop" deliveries, stitchfix is clothes, daily harvest is gay meals, atlas coffee. Then you have Peleton and Strava, both of which are just exercise apps, things I cannot even understand the need of a subscription for. I hate women.
>>377890 Anon, leftists always demonize the people who do the most to stand in their way. Nixon wasn't the Satan of the Baby Boomers for nothing. I've already said he played ball with Yidsrael, but by the 70's the AIPAC and their ilk were already firmly entrenched. Gerald Ford tried to embargo Israel to stop their occupation of the west bank and what he got was a sternly worded letter from nearly 70 congressmen (all of whom where backed by Jewish donors.)

>>989978 >Decide to hinge your entire civilization's success on whether you have a competent leader or not >All leaders willing to be on that position are incompetent Have you learned nothing? The kind of leader that makes those systems useful come only once in 2000 years. Any form of dictatorial autocracy sucks because everyone willing to be in that position usually sucks massive dick as a leader, at least in a democracy they will have to at least PRETEND to satisfy some part of the population instead of just doing what they will on a whim. I will say, however, that we should have massively stratified our society based on intellectual capacity and went for a technocracy around 200 years ago.

>>377853 I really should have found it again, but people identified crisis actors and agitators at the January 6th op who were later seen fighting in the Ukrainian conflict. Given the whole clusterfuck of the Ukrainian color revolution engineered by the Obama glowies, it's not a hard stretch to surmise that Obama and Biden called up the Ukrainian army for a favor and they poached this dude. That is the true connection that has them panicking to obfuscate it, because it blows the popsicle stand wide open as to how the assassination attempt was coordinated as well as the motives if everybody involved.

So it was better that he saved his own skin at the cost of dooming the BILLIONS of people that are relying upon the dollar as a currency? Because, you know, we're the reserve currency of the world, and every single economy trades in dollars at the end of the day because that's how international trade was setup during Bretton Woods back in '44? >>377891 The ONLY thing I pay that's listed there is my Verizon phone bill, but that's $20 a month instead of $50. >>377909 >Any form of dictatorial autocracy sucks because everyone willing to be in that position usually sucks massive dick as a leader, at least in a democracy they will have to at least PRETEND to satisfy some part of the population instead of just doing what they will on a whim. No, democracies are actually WORSE. You're just trading a dictatorship of ONE for a dictatorship of THE PEOPLE. This isn't even getting into Socialist rhetoric, democracies are emotional controlled nuthouses that either collapse because of their emotional tendencies or RETURN to the system of being a a dictatorship just so that people have some stablization. That's WHY the American system was established the way that it was. To provide something of a functioning government where none of the branches had all of the authority, none of the states could overrule nor undermine the other states, the people had limited but important impact on who could control each level of the government, but almost NOTHING could be radically changed about it by a singular all-encompassing group because it requires the autism one would have trying to Min-Max Amazing Cultivation Simulator in order to push something through without even the slightest opposition popping up somewhere in the system.

>>377915 I'd argue democracy worked a lot better back when it was exclusively in the hands of well-educated white male landowners who experienced the pains of having less liberty and thus knew the value of retaining it.
>>377915 >democracies are actually WORSE. You're just trading a dictatorship of ONE for a dictatorship of THE PEOPLE Yes, cool words which I agree in general, however, let's check how the other dictatorships are doing on the world, yeah? Oh. And I know that the people in general are retarded pieces of shit with whom I wouldn't trust them to take care of my dog, let alone an entire country, which is why I mentioned a Technocracy. Fuck giving power to people just because they're people, if barely that. It just sucks that it's one of those government types that only exist in fantasy land and will always do so because if applied in real life it would be an insane corruption galore.

>>377918 >first video My favorite anecdote for this kind of thing will always be that one time Boris Yeltsin decided to take a look into a random market just for kicks while visiting the US, so he goes into the first one he sees and ends up being utterly convinced the CIA had to have prepared the entire store just for him, because there was absolutely no way the americans just had that much food and quality materials lying around for a random store, he was convinced it was planned as propaganda against him, so he went to another randomly picked market and saw the same thing and that broke him.

>>377996 Shilling on cuckchan isn't plausible for basically anyone that isn't a fucking retard. It requires you to use a sanctioned residential IP, every variation of the text involving the sites domain is completely banned, and posting it an image will get your IP perma banned, not to mention that posting a url in an image makes you look like bot spam and anyone who isn't a fucking retard isn't going to type in some random URL from an image. Unless Acid spins up a unique domain with a completely different name you aren't ever going to realistically be able to shill the site there. And even if he did come up with an alternative domain for shilling, it would likely just get word filtered within a few days. You are much better off shilling in more niche sections of the internet that are likely to have an overlap with cuckchan posters. Not that I would recommend trying to attract cuckchan users here in the first place. In 2024 that's essentially the same thing as inviting reddit niggers in here, perhaps even worse.

Don't know how big you niggers are on torrenting but just found out there is a repository site for RARGB called "therargb". They were able to keep the archive and most of the seeders before the site was closed last year. Probably one of the best sites to get movies along with rutracker.
>>378011 If it is about traffic, we should probably be asking what made OG 8chan popular and successful.
>>378015 A mass collective exodus from Moot's retarded behavior made 8chan.net popular. It's irrelevant to this site and the actions needed to bring people here. The options are already known, it just needs people to execute. But if no one was going to bother to do it 3-4 years ago I don't imagine anyone will today either. The site has only declined in english users since it launched.
>>378013 >Accidentally used leftover meme magic to protect Ex-President Trump from assassination. Okay, who the fuck said that? I want to laugh.
>branding We should probably try to spin a new name and reputation for ourselves and market something about this site that will stand out, or double down on our bad reputation "embrace infamy" and put a positive spin on being called "cakechan" and make more OC with cakes. In the same sense that people gossip or tell stories and legends about a place: that kind of advertising is really good imo. I can't see a positive spin on marketing "blacked.moe", so we should probably work off the reputation the site has with porn boards and shill this place as some kind of "Sin City" or "Vice City" or a catchy name and make OC for that. TL;DR: work on our brand Think about it: bad press is still press, that's why Donald Trump was successful. People gossiping about our bad reputation is a nice second hand way to bring people here and that's how a place like /leftypol/ likes to shill itself (they shill on 4cuck by working off their bad rep and infamy and pretending to be anons hating communists there and mentioning the site). I could easily see someone pretending to bitch about 8moe as "blacked.moe" or "cakechan" and try to subtly namedrop a lot of good things about this place in the process. >organic I don't like the term "organic" because I see it as a feel-good term. I agree, we shouldn't make it souless. But co-ordinated effort and strategies aren't a bad thing either. >niche communities Trying to appeal to and migrate niche communities here is a good idea. >newfags Doing this will bring in newfags, so we should filter newfags and try to be more newfag friendly to help them integrate here. I think our current litmus test for newfags is bullying them and seeing if they stay or not: if they stay, they passed.

>>378018 >We should probably try to spin a new name and reputation for ourselves and market something about this site that will stand out, or double down on our bad reputation "embrace infamy" and put a positive spin on being called "cakechan" and make more OC with cakes. The reputation isn't the issue. Anyone that wouldn't use this site based on its name wouldn't use whatever new name you came up with anyways. It's only an issue in terms of being a banned phrase on cuckchan. Other than that the 8chan brand is a known entity and familiarity has advantages, especially in the era of all these cancerous spin-off imageboards made by herdniggers. >I can't see a positive spin on marketing "blacked.moe", so we should probably work off the reputation the site has with porn boards and shill this place as some kind of "Sin City" or "Vice City" or a catchy name and make OC for that. Retarded >I don't like the term "organic" because I see it as a feel-good term. I agree, we shouldn't make it souless. But co-ordinated effort and strategies aren't a bad thing either. Organic doesn't mean you don't coordinate the effort to bring people here. It just means you aren't buying 4chan advertisement spots and inflating your numbers with retards that will do nothing to contribute to the site and its pre-existing cultural standards. Organic means the site has a presence off platform that naturally brings attention to it, such as on social media platforms. It isn't a "feel-good" term, it's a specific approach to driving traffic here that maximizes the quality of user and sets proper expectations.
>>378028 "Organic" makes us sound more like a bunch of faggot yuppies appealing to smol niche communities (who all hate us btw anyways). The people who are in niche communities are probably devoted to that particular niche community and not transient. >Other than that the 8chan brand is a known entity and familiarity has advantages 8chan is a good brand, but that's besides the point: this place isn't OG 8chan, we still need to re-think and make good on what we have here now in the present day, b/c we can only go so far with oldfaggotry and nostalgiabaiting.
Disney is looking into buying hololive or getting into the vtuber space in some capacity.
>>378031 oy vey
>>378029 >"Organic" makes us sound more like a bunch of faggot yuppies It's not a term you'd use when trying to get users here in the first place so who gives a fuck. Organic is the correct word to use in that context. >appealing to smol niche communities (who all hate us btw anyways). No one is appealing to anything. And no one is using the word organic to appeal to anything. It's literally just differentiating between the kinds of traffic a website can receive. I would say you're being autistic but even autistic people can generally understand how words work. You're just being stupid. >this place isn't OG 8chan It has the same core userbase and same core functionality of open board creation. It has multiple of the same board owners from the original site. And original 8chan literally does not exist anymore. It's completely fucking meaningless to point out that this isn't original 8chan, because it's a spiritual successor to something that doesn't exist anymore. >we still need to re-think and make good on what we have here now in the present day, b/c we can only go so far with oldfaggotry and nostalgiabaiting. You're just stating this without any logical reason for why it ought to be done. You haven't articulated any tangible reason why it would make a difference if the site was named something that isn't 8chan. And I don't even know what "oldfaggotry" and "nostalgiabaiting" are supposed to mean in this context. Calling the site 8chan doesn't bait nostalgia. It doesn't appeal to "oldfaggotry". Oldfaggotry is a completely arbitrary concept in the first place. It's literally just a name to reflect that it's emulating the core culture and functionality of the original site. And it achieves that fine. You are fixating on the most useless details.

Yidsney is a sinking ship, so they can sell their company to Yidsney for a hefty price and then buy their company back at a discount. The only hitch is that (1) they need to have a stipulation in the buyout that they retain control and (2) pray that EA or Apple don't swoop in and buy Yidsney as I've been hearing rumors of. >>378039 Just for speculation's sake, do you think they're desperate enough to get Matthew Broderick and Robby Benson to do become vtubers and watch as they destroy their careers doing furry ERP?

The amount of FUD about the site in all parts of the net is pretty nuts sometimes. It seems like of that group of old guard who rolled out the gate hating us (be it over Mark or me or the 8chan name or GG), there's at least one of them spread out to every adjacent community that we might have otherwise have some appeal with. Those people have spent the four years that we've been around telling everyone how awful we are, and got to do it in a vacuum where regular people picked it up by osmosis. Here's a very recent example. I shilled a board on the site to a normally GG friendly community that might be facing a split over jannying, and one of the replies was unironically: >4chan and 8chan are fed honeypots. >Allow users to use anonymous proxies first and then we'll think about it. "I literally can't even" as the kids say. But that's the kind of ignorant shit we're up against. Like when revolt's ruins took over /cow/ and turned julay into an anti-GG cesspit years ago and spread that shit all over the Fediverse. Or for a more blatant example, take Pedokike setting up shop on Kiwifarms as "30+ Gameovers" and singlehandedly reviving their mark/8moe thread just to make sure he keeps their fire stoked against us. You wouldn't want two sites both heavily threatened by deplatforming and who had to invent their own solutions to work together, now would you? Far better that they mock and resent eachother, at least in the eyes of a faggot pedophile CP spamming troll. Its easy enough to spot the actors in play who do this shit, but the damage is largely already done and its hard to tell if the person shilling against us is one of the faggots or just some anon who picked it up and is repeating it. And nobody speaks up against it because "being a defense force is cringe" so the negative bullshit gets stuck in the public consciousness and you wind up with niggers who think we ban proxies and tell other people not to use us. We're basically the Donald Trump of the internet - "infinity site bad." Breaking through the FUD would require a pretty significant, concentrated effort with a lot of anons throwing their time and energy behind it, and probably centralized coordination somewhere on the site. Before I got sick last year I was working on an idea for something like that, but its still a question of if enough people would even want to participate so I haven't made it any kind of priority. The FUD didn't stop us from helping out /2434/ or the hispa boards, /erp/ and others, so it may be best to just let things naturally work themselves out.

This could be our niche like Venice is known for their glass, 8moe could be known for all the fetish boards and the definitive place to go for gooning: then hopefully we would have so many gooners here that they'll circulate and help make another big board like /pol/ or /b/.

>>377964 The Soviet Union had the best spy network of the planet, maybe ever so much so that maps of London made by Russians are more detailed than the ones made by the Brits. Well, there was a minor exodus on reddit were a select quantity of people went to voat instead. Maybe we should track communities where there is high censorship in general and try attracting to here? Honestly, goes without saying, most people who would find 8moe to be a perfect place think 8kunt was the final stop. People just don't know. There are people who would like this place, it's hard to reach out because normalfags still believe the narrative. The people who go "woah 8chan you mean the PEDO SHOOTER place??" will never come here, and they shouldn't come here. If they do come here it will be to stir chaos and astroturf because they just hate it for some reason, as they did with 4chan. As for the people who WOULD come here it's a number of people I've observed >old 8ch fags who left when it went downhill but didn't go to any of the followups They don't know, and whether or not they're back in 4chan or dicksword communities or just wandering, wherever they frequent, they are side by side with leftist faggots and have resigned to thinking that it's owarida. As for how to reach them, no clue. I got one person to come back because they were reminiscing about peak 8ch in a TF2 server and I told them 8moe exists. They checked it out, said "wow glad it's still around" but I don't know if they frequent. >fediverse A ton of people on the fediverse also fit into the previous type of person, I have also seen a number of people remark about the peak days of 8ch and regret how it turned out. There's a few things to consider if you try to 1) they probably prefer the microblogging format, 2) there's a ton of pedo activists that would probably use this place for terrible things, and 3) I think finding the right instance is a bit tricky, some instances while having edgy userbases would dogpile 8moe as either being mega Hitler or being a fed honeypot because of how 8kunt turned out, or hate loli. But it's easy enough to find an instance that is good, I think. Thing is some are clearly too segregated to interact with the fediverse, and then there's those instances that are too touchy with wanting to keep things kosher. Gotta find that right middle-ground. So, I don't think it would hurt to simply, HAVE a presence on the fediverse on a personal level (8moe Official™ Fedi is trying too hard), but if people just used the fediverse normally and mention 8moe (ex "wow look at this cool pic someone drew in 8moe/v/ drawthread") it exposes it to (hopefully) like-minded people. And whatever Fediverse thinks about post-8kunt sites, that shit happened years ago, for all intents and purposes 8moe is a clean slate. >>378247 Some people can't let go, I think the 12% is highly exaggerated given the conditions of the survey, but still, there will be a few clueless holdouts. Just like 4chan. >>378109 Miss the furry faggots, they had fun game nights. Too bad things just kinda fell apart.

Imagine an /arcade/ board where you could play random games in your browser or shit like pachinko machines, or something like a Duke3D thread on /v/ where you click the OP to start the game and it drops you right into a Dukematch server with other anons from the same thread. And personally I'd love to see if we could get the low spec Xwing vs TIE Fighter build working too, though its a stretch because jsdos can only emulate up to about the power of a bottom end Pentium II. Like a 250mhz Pentium II lol.
>>378266 > AIfags who make these images never bother with fixing blatant errors like malformed hands and ears. Do they even know how? Shit is easy.

One is attaching an identity to your likes, interests, and thoughts. Liking or preferring microblogging doesn't really preclude someone from using an anonymous imageboard, as the inherent anonymity allows people to explore ideas more freely. >2) there's a ton of pedo activists that would probably use this place for terrible things It's banned behavior now and the site was already infested with them before, a relative non-issue. >3) I think finding the right instance is a bit tricky, some instances while having edgy userbases would dogpile 8moe as either being mega Hitler or being a fed honeypot because of how 8kunt turned out, or hate loli It doesn't matter what they think. You either attract users or you don't. Their opinion on the site is irrelevant. >but if people just used the fediverse normally and mention 8moe (ex "wow look at this cool pic someone drew in 8moe/v/ drawthread") it exposes it to (hopefully) like-minded people Posting about game nights, and actual activities that represent the core fun aspects of the site would be good. It sounds cool, but I am reminded of MyAbandonware taking down games when they have been added to a digital storefront. If randy pitchford wanted to, couldn't he channel the DMCA to put a plug on the Duke3D matches because anons aren't playing Duke Nukem his way? At that rate, anons would probably be stuck playing shareware or whatever dev allows their game to be freeware. Now while you talk about DOS, I seem to recall the site letting anons upload SWF files. I bring that up because, correct me if I'm wrong, but there are some flash games which have multiplayer in them. If the flash stuff on this site works then I think it would be neat to have a game gallery for them similar to your /arcade/ idea. Don't know to the extent of how they work on here but if you can get games like Sushi Cat working then you got a Flash Arcade at least.

>>990519 >Is Disney actually doing so poorly that an acquisition is even in question? Right now? No. However it hasn't stopped press from talking about the rumored Apple buyout. Article below is from last December Disney’s 2024 lifeline leads to Tim Cook https://archive.is/3WOWz >Walt Disney (DIS.N) and Apple (AAPL.O) have a history together. A future partnership could be on the cards too. Disney Chief Executive Bob Iger is seeking a team-mate for sports network ESPN. Apple head Tim Cook is expanding into soccer and baseball coverage for its streaming service. In 2024, Iger could look to Cook for a deal. >Disney is casting around for a minority partner to invest in sports cable network ESPN. It’s part of a wider effort undertaken by Iger, who is under pressure from activists including Nelson Peltz, to re-evaluate the $170 billion entertainment company’s broadcast portfolio, which includes other networks like ABC and FX. >Apple is a logical place to start. One of Iger’s hallmark deals was to buy Apple co-founder Steve Jobs’ animation studio Pixar for $7.4 billion in 2006. The all-stock transaction made Jobs the largest shareholder in the Magic Kingdom, earning him a seat on Disney’s board. Cook in turn recruited Iger to Apple’s board in 2011, where he served until 2019. >Disney owns 80% of ESPN while Hearst, the publisher of Elle magazine and the Houston Chronicle newspaper, has the other 20%. The network has roughly 71 million subscribers through basic cable packages, as of September. But drumming up viewers is getting harder as eyeballs are fixed on streaming. >Both Disney and the $3 trillion technology giant have invested heavily in their respective streaming businesses, but they are in different stages. Disney needs money and Apple needs content, so a deal could work. Cook has bought rights to Major League Soccer and Major League Baseball. Having ESPN as its main outlet would be a punch up. Plus, Apple could seed the sports network on iPhones and through Apple TV to juice customer acquisitions. >Meantime Iger could get a cash infusion. ESPN generated approximately $3 billion in EBITDA for the year ending September. On a multiple of 10 times, ESPN has an enterprise value of $30 billion. With $162 billion in cash on Apple’s balance sheet, Cook could easily swing the investment and provide a lifeline to a familiar friend. >>378277 >and I seriously doubt Disney is in the mood for selling assets. They did do damage control last year over the possibility of having to spin off ABC & ESPN Disney CEO Bob Iger in ‘damage control’ mode over possible sale of ABC, ESPN https://archive.is/1RNwO >Disney’s Bob Iger was forced to do “damage control” after spilling plans to possibly sell all or part of money-bleeding channels ABC and ESPN, The Post has learned. Iger, who last week got a two-year extension to run the company after retaking the reins last year, huddled with senior leaders of Disney’s TV properties on Tuesday, according to a source with knowledge. >“Iger met with senior leaders of the television group and reaffirmed his commitment to the value of the business and also ABC News,” the source said, adding that he was doing some “damage control” and “reverting back to the previous talking points.” >The meeting came days after the Disney boss made some uncharacteristically candid remarks to CNBC’s David Faber, in which he said Disney’s traditional TV business “may not be core” to the entertainment giant. >Among his comments was that Iger would be open to finding a strategic partner for ESPN. >Rumors have also swirled that he may spin off ABC.

>>378169 >>378185 >>378225 >>378262 The internet will never be the same. After 2007, the big corporations took it all over. Today it’s digital Disneyland. And while the normalfags play “High School Cliques” online, developers drop your messages and data onto the information market. In the old days, no one knew your name, where you were, what you did. Today, it's like checkin' into an airport. And if you decide to route yourself through a relay, you're lucky to connect by next Thursday. Today, it's all gone. You get a user posting something more than four lines long and some twenty-five-year-old federal agent kid is gonna run their Social Security Number. After the old crowd got knocked off the net, the corporations tore down practically every one of the old webzones. And where did the money come from to rewrite the internet? Advertisers. Governments. But in the end, I wound up right back where I started. I still post anonymously, and I still make funny shitposts for all kinds of retards way back home. And why mess up a good thing? When I sold Lucasfilm just over a decade ago, I was delighted to become a Disney shareholder because of my long-time admiration for its iconic brand and Bob Iger’s leadership. When Bob recently returned to the company during a difficult time, I was relieved. No one knows Disney better. I remain a significant shareholder because I have full faith and confidence in the power of Disney and Bob’s track record of driving long-term value. I have voted all of my shares for Disney’s 12 directors and urge other shareholders to do the same.” >Disney has lined up a number of high-profile endorsements in its battle against Peltz and his firm, Trian Fund Management, from the heirs of Walt and Roy Disney to JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon. >But the support from the Lucas endorsement is key, not only because of his role as Disney’s largest individual shareholder, but also because of his standing in Hollywood. Lucas wrote and created the “Star Wars” and “Indiana Jones” franchises, some of the most popular films in history, and he helped pioneer tools such as digital film editing and computer-generated imagery. >Peltz has asked investors to nominate him and former Disney Chief Financial Officer Jay Rasulo to the board at its annual general meeting on April 3. Among other things, Peltz wants to overhaul Disney’s traditional TV channels, which he thinks have been a shrinking business. >Iger, meanwhile, has been trying to streamline the sprawling media company to rein in spending and make its Disney+ streaming platform profitable. Iger has instituted broad restructuring, including thousands of layoffs. And this article says her family still holds a significant stake in the company. Laurene Powell Jobs Throws Support Behind Disney Board and Bob Iger in Proxy Fight >As the board proxy fight between The Walt Disney Company and Nelson Peltz’s Trian Partners comes down to the wire, Disney and CEO Bob Iger have locked up the support of another high-profile Disney shareholder. >Laurene Powell Jobs said in a statement Thursday that she is urging shareholders to vote in support of Disney’s board nominees. <“My family and I have been significant investors in The Walt Disney Company for nearly two decades, and in that time, we have seen the company transformed thanks to the steady and visionary leadership of Bob Iger and Disney’s expert Board of Directors,” Powell Jobs wrote. “What has always set Disney apart is the way it combines unbridled creativity with technological innovation to tell timeless stories—stories that inspire and enrich the world around us. <“There is no one who understands Disney’s important legacy or the responsibility to protect it more than Bob Iger,” she added. “He is a once-in-a-generation leader with an ambitious vision for the future, and we as shareholders are fortunate to have him guiding this cherished company at such a crucial moment in its history. I urge my fellow shareholders to support Bob and the company’s slate of highly qualified Director nominees.” >Powell Jobs, of course, is a philanthropist and the founder of Emerson Collective, as well as the widow of the late Steve Jobs, the Apple founder and CEO who was close friends with Iger. >Jobs at one point was the largest shareholder in Disney, following the company’s $7.4 billion acquisition of Pixar (which Jobs founded) in 2006, and the statement suggests that the family still holds a significant number of shares, though exactly how many is unclear. >Jobs also joined Disney’s board, with Iger later joining Apple’s board of directors. >Powell Jobs is one of a number of high-profile Disney shareholders to speak out in favor of Iger and the Disney board. Earlier this week Star Wars creator George Lucas voiced his support for the board, and last month the Disney family, including descendants of both Walt and Roy Disney, also threw their support behind Iger and the board. >But the note from Powell Jobs also comes the same day that Institutional Shareholder Services, the influential proxy advisory firm, recommended that shareholders vote to add Nelson Peltz to the Disney board, in a blow to the company’s efforts. They're both from March of this year.

>>378387 The Jojo mangaka got his art into the louvre a bit ago, dunno if it was permanent though.
>>378383 >people will just say the problem is that there aren’t enough black stuntwomen because sexism/racism The problem with their argument is that they don't know how economics and technology work. Best example of this is the oil industry. Based on Malthusianism projections from the 1950's to the 1970's, we were suppose to have run out of all oil across the entire planet if we maintained oil production at the then-current levels using all of the then-currently technology to drill the then-currently known wells by the year 2000. Now it's the year 2024, and people would think you're from Mars if you expressed the idea that we've long since run out of oil. So what happened? Well, dismissing and ignoring the fact that the people making these predictions and models are absolute idiots, there's the reality that technology changes over time. This may seem like a given, but people don't realize just how MUCH technology has changed. In the case of oil drilling during the mid-20th century, many wells were never drilled or even attempted because, with the technology they had at the time, it was just too costly to even reach the well or the amount of oil that could be extracted was so small that it wasn't worth the investment. I am of course ignoring outlier where they decided to drill a difficult well just to win a bet. Fast forward 70 years, and we have technology like fracking, horizontal drilling, and well completion that allow oil companies to, not only extract oil in more efficient and inexpensive manners but, revisit these sites and make these "expensive" and "difficult" wells profitable. Even visiting wells that they previously had declared as completely "drained" and just extracting even more oil from them with the new tech. And the result is that more oil is being produced than any other time in history. To give a comparison in order to make this vidya related, it's equivalent to people coming along and declared that video games on the Atari 2600 and the Commodore 64 are the best graphics and most complex game mechanics you are ever going to see a video game capable of. That nothing more sophisticated will ever be possible and you're stupid for thinking otherwise. When boiled down into those terms, you see how retarded the entire concept is. But your average moron buys into it hook, line, and sinker because they don't understand how markets or innovation works. And to the guy who constantly argues about the "GC Retard" being stupid for thinking that modern gaming can run on all of the sixth gen systems, NEWS FLASH, I am "that guy". My argument is not, and never has been, that we've reached the pinnacle of tech innovation 25 years ago. It IS NOT that I don't believe video games are incapable of doing anything new. The argument that I keep making, and that you consistently fail to understand because you're too autistic to get it, is that I do not currently see video games actually taking advantage of the technology we have available. And that as an extension of this conclusion, I demand that developers return to making games for systems that have been produced over the past 25 years because I do not see the point in buying a new game console in order to play more primitive games, or even some instances were it is the same games that I already currently play on one of the many systems produced over the past 25 years.

>>378394 >Hey /co/fags: The lady's opening sentence opens this up to more than just capeshit: <In the post-Marvel Cinematic Universe era, it’s hard to find a savvy pop culture maven who can’t define “continuity,” whether they’re talking about comics, movies, TV, or video games. <My sibling in Christ, I am begging you, do you know the story of King Arthur and the Lady of the Lake? Of Persephone and Hades? Of Robin Hood’s friend Little John? <You don’t, because there is no “the story” for any of those. They’re all legends born of oral tradition and popular writing from eras and places in which authorship was a very different idea, if it was considered at all. No, the Lady of the Lake comes from Walter Map (Claiming that he translated official records of Camelot), with later additions made by Thomas Malory. The Rape of Persephone comes from Early Sumerian mythology (Which we currently have very few records of because that was 8000 years ago). And Little John was created by Andrew of Wyntoun and Walter Bower. Just because the average person doesn't know where these elements comes from DOESN'T mean that we cannot trace it. >Any version of these stories that you know was cobbled together from the best bits of every version of “the story” that came before. The lack of a single “canon version” or “continuity” to Arthurian legend, Greek mythology, or Robin Hood hasn’t kept the stories under those umbrellas from being widely known hundreds and thousands of years after they were first told. The "definite" stories of those particular characters and events are the originals we have. Or in this particular case, the earliest copies that we have, such as Malory's Le Morte d'Arthur (Unless you want the original original, then there's Map's Vulgate Cycle), Hesiod's Theogony, and A Gest of Robyn Hode. As far as we can find, these are the closest you can get to have the "original" tales. But this isn't the case with material like capeshit, where we DO have copies of every single Superman comic book, short story, comic strip, film serial all available for people to find and experience. >Everyone writing Spider-Man comics today is cobbling together their personal version of the best bits of the Spider-Man comics, shows, movies, and games that came before — and deemphasizing the rest. And so are the folks making The Acolyte, or Star Trek: Prodigy, or Captain America: Brave New World, or next month’s issue of Action Comics, or any story with Sherlock Holmes in it. And that's why people stopped caring about this stuff. We liked the original Gene Roddenberry Star Trek, people bought the comics to read about Jack Kirby's Captain America and Steve Ditko's Spider-Man. And that material only managed to exist for so long because the people in charge of making that material, after the original creator moved on, made damn sure that the people continuing the works stayed true to the original material that drew people into the original and sold them on the concept. >Our most enduring stories didn’t need consistent continuity to remain compelling today, and there’s no technological advance — from the movable-type printing press to the internet — that successfully rendered that near-infinite potential for variation down to a single accepted version. What about how, for example, people keep returning to the original trilogy of Star Wars movies? We're a few years away from the 50th anniversary of that series yet, despite the sequels that "attempted" to "remain true" to the "vision" originals (Opinions may vastly differ), and the prequels that were entirely controlled by the creator of the original, people keep going back to the original three films. >Anyone arguing to the contrary is arguing against thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of years of human history. How? >In fact, I and many others who actually make these stories would argue that a lack of strict continuity is what allows these ideas to stay relevant even in the present. And that's Communist gobbledygook! Stories don't need to be "updated" for the purposes of still being influential and relevant. A good story drafted 200 years ago is still a good story to read today. While much of it was a bore, I did enjoy some parts of Washington Irving's The Sketch Book. Dashiell Hammett's Red Harvest was a downright awesome read. And I still think Walter Tevis' The Hustler is is perhaps the best and most inspiration novel I have ever read. The ONLY people who see this material and think it's "outdated" or "irrelevant" are pseudo-intellectuals who cannot respect their predecessors because they think they're "smarter" than everyone else. You don't have to like the originals, for example Robinson Crusoe is downright trash and Silas Marner is a bore, but you should respect them as much as you do any other piece of media (New or old). >Reboots, retcons, alternate universes, and Hypertime — these are the methods that modern franchise creators use to tell stories that break continuity, because they want to make their story better. No, it's just to get people to stop flooding their literal mailboxes with endless complaints. >And it’s not meaningfully different from a storyteller in oral or folk traditions fitting their telling to their audience. No, people are actually incredibly autistic about material remaining true to it's roots. >The audience doesn’t need to know every version of Robin Hood’s story to know Robin Hood, and it shouldn’t need to know every version of Wolverine’s story to know Wolverine. And I don't need to experience your material if you're not going to give me the characters that I want, which you aren't and arguing that you shouldn't be expected to provide. >There is no “the story” of Batman or Wolverine. And the original Detective Comics and The Incredible Hulk series these characters appeared in don't count because...? >Nobody was at all bothered that a new X-Men writer took over five minutes later Because no one is reading it? >So when I say that continuity shouldn’t matter, I mean that, as a Batman fan, it’s in my interest for there to be lots of different versions of Batman — so that the versions of him that best fit the moment can be offered as a fit for the moment, so that there will keep being more Batman stories. But I DON'T want more Batham stories. I already have my "favorite" version of Batham (2004 KidsWB The Batman, followed by Batman Beyond). In fact, I actually want to see about reading the ORIGINAL Batman that was created '39 up to when Finger left in '64. Are you incapable of moving on from Batham? So I just wasted the past hour writing this, and the lady addresses NONE of the issues that I have. Go figure.

And thought to bring up the system link functionality from the Xbox consoles to show my agreement because LAN used to be a thing before the industry shifted to online for multiplayer, barring some exceptions like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the switch The other platforms may have backwards compatibility with games & LAN, but they didn't use it to an extent the Xbox family does. Take Mario Kart: Double Dash!! as an example with its LAN mode. Officially, it doesn't work on the Wii despite the backwards compatibility, because the Gamecube's broadband adapter isn't supported, nor would you get a working connection from the Wii's USB Ethernet adapter as USB access is disabled in Gamecube mode. You have no choice but to buy a lot of Gamecube consoles with the expensive adapters if you wanted to play Double Dash's LAN multiplayer mode. Thanks to the modding scene though, they've made it so that the Wii can emulate the Gamecube's broadband adapter. They also made playing Gamecube games on the Wii U work despite that console only having backwards compatibility for the Wii. Thus, what would've only worked on one platform could be done on three generations of nintendo consoles & now all of them can play Double Dash's LAN mode together or in the case of the Wii family, all on their own. The closest official thing Nintendo has to what I said would be transferring Pokemon from past generations to the present one, but trading monsters isn't as impressive as multiple cars racing for the finish line. As far as I'm aware, this kind of thing does not exist in the playstation family. A 16 Player LAN deathmatch of TimeSplitters: Future Perfect couldn't work on the PS2 and its successors (even the blessing of the modding scenes) as opposed to the four generations of the Xbox family Although one would have to RGH their 360 to remove the OG Xbox games whitelist to get Future Perfect playing there and an aftermarket controller that works with the 360 & OG Xbox consoles because a genuine 360 controller doesn't work with that particular game for whatever reason. So that's what I was trying to convey, as far as >take advantage of the technology we have available <Ethernet & LAN >return to making games for systems that have been produced over the past 25 years <OG Xbox is 23 years old as of this writing What you were saying reminded me of the pic I posted earlier of all the Xboxes playing an OG Xbox game together.

>>378384 >>378362 >>378443 >>378368 Honestly I think they've given up on diddling their way gradually in the backdoor and their next plan is to just kick the front door in and come in unter the cover of some catastrophe, whether real, faked, or real but intentional. Hell it worked for 9/11 and arguably Vietnam and WWII among others. So take your bets >war for greater Israel >Bluebeam >Corona 2.0 but it's actually really the Red Death this time >various political assassination and succession crises around the world >some sort of environmental collapse event >???

>>378475 Trump literally did nothing in office other than cut a bunch of regulation. I have no idea why people think he's literally hitler.
>>378475 Well, it's an old list item that the election of Donald Trump was a Gamergate plot.
>>378477 Yeah, that was some funny shit.
>>378476 The Wall speeches, same reason he got elected in the first place. Openly talking about a racial problem that isn't treating the non-white as the good guy, even something as minor as lessening immigration, is unprecedented for today's Tumblr/Reddit-raised populace (and Canadians trying to virtue signal about being better than America whiler obsessing over its politics and ignoring their own).

>>378479 >and Canadians trying to virtue signal about being better than America whiler obsessing over its politics and ignoring their own Didn't Castreau just push through a new law requiring Canadians to rent out their vacant rooms to immigrants in order to solve the "housing crisis"?

Looks like Biden got the 'rona. What a coincidence that he recently mentioned he'd consider dropping from the presidential candidacy if he had health problems.

Back when I was president the puns were high energy and came FAST and FURIOUS like no one has ever seen before. When you reelect me as you president we are going to Make Spic Puns Great Again!= and also we are going to deal with that shark issue. Did you know there are now TWO, get it TWO shark vtubers? Would have never happened under my watch. Its so sad.

Turns out Concord's beta (open to every who preordered and any 4 people they invite) came out and nobody cared. People didn't even buy it to show how bad the game is. It literally has less active players than a 20 year old game where most of the players are using a non-Steam release or source port. I think SYNDUALITY's closed beta, where Namco Bandai literally forgot to tell people they were accepted into it before the beta had actually started, may have actually had more players.

>>378496 Word around the office is that Joe is bowing out this weekend.
>>378533 How's the game?
>>378534 Not that anon, but it's pretty simple. There's only a basic attack, special attack (that gets powered up when you have energy), a dodge and a change character button that doubles as a parry if you time it right. There's also an ult that can only be used by one of your three characters at a time. There's some variation depending on the character. Ellen up there for instance wants to dodge and dash around and her moves change based on that and there are also a few moves than change whether you press or hold the attack button. It looks really flashy but is pretty simple and button mashy in execution. Most of the content is extremely fucking easy unless it's one of the end game things they want to be hard in which case they jack up enemy health and damage a ton. Even if you're a god at dodge and parry timing you still won't rank high because the high enemy health means you won't kill them fast enough. At this point they want you to engage with the gacha to get better characters and slowly build them with drip-fed daily energy system by improving gear/skills etc. The plot and world can be pretty entertaining but only after you get passed the opening hours which are pretty bad. But I like the vibe and the character designs are fun. Interesting to see Hoyo leaning more into fanservice. This is also probably their best effort in making the MC part of the actual action. In Genshin and Star Rail the MC is a playable unit but they quickly become outclassed (except the new version of the SR MC for a very specific team comp). In this your MC isn't playable at all but is basically the mission control. Also the MC you don't pick (who is your sibling) is still around and a character too.
>>378534 It's bretty good :D . Hoyo dumped some fertilizer on the 3D animations this time around.
>>378520 Alright then. >>378530 Speaking of the Metaverse, was anyone here really looking forward to the Oculus Rift VR headset before the acquisition by Facebook all those years ago? >>378389 Reminds me of Civ 3 where you could be sitting on a massive pile of resources, but until you have researched the technology you have no idea it's there. Sort of how Alaska was considered worthless when Russia sold it to the USA, only for its value to explode when oil was discovered.
